I didn't need any pain medication after having my wisdom teeth extracted, the bleeding stopped after an hour or so and I had it done whilst awake and using a local. All in all took about 40 minutes in and out, was fine within about 24 hours.

Need more info: What are you converting from and what do you want to convert it to? Is it for converting files to use on your PC? Or onto a console?
