World of Warcraft - or for that matter any MMORPG. I really cannot see the point in wasting hours upon hours of my life playing the same thing over and over knowing there is no end to the game. I like to be able to stick in a game and know that after 40+ hours my efforts will be rewarded...
Final Fantasy started to go downhill after 10.
Why they had to give 11 & 14 numbers I don't know, why couldn't they have just called them Final Fantasy: Online.
I've found that the Dragon Quest games are far more enjoyable than the newer Final Fantasy games.

Christmas day 2007 I started playing Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the cursed king, I only intended to play for an hour or so to see what it was like... I ended up clocking up 13 hours that day on it, another 14 on boxing day and another 12 the next day bringing my total over 3 days to 39 hours...
The first thing I preordered was my Gamecube (With Luigi's mansion, Crazy Taxi and Extreme G III) from Toy's R Us.. well I say I ordered it, I was taken there by my dad and he said to tell the gentleman at the till what I wanted.
If that doesn't count then it'd have to be Legend of Zelda...
Start with Charmander
Catch Pidgey and raise it until it Evolves into Pidgeot then never use it again when I get Articuno
Catch an Abra and evolve him all the way to Alakazam, use until I catch Mewtwo.
Buy Magikarp from the guy before Mt Moon, evolve painstakingly into Gyarados before...
