It's worth noting that running a convention is NOT easy, and if you don't have some experience with the thing, or delegate the right people to manage various parts of the event- failure is PRETTY DAMN EASY. Not saying that every beginning convention is going to be a DashCon... but just because...
Let us not forget that part of the kerfuffle is that the Escapist still OWES the EC people money for the IP. You claim ownership of something you haven't paid for yet. Until that gets resolved, I don't believe the Escapist can successfully claim it's their IP.
OMG how could I have forgotten Pushing Daisies! o_O That show deserved better than it got, seriously!
And Briscoe County Jr could have had a few more seasons IMHO... Even with Burn Notice there's still not enough Bruce Campbell on television....
(and because I want to mention it again...
Babylon 5 doesn't count - it ran its course and ended the story. Crusade sucked and Legend of the Rangers didn't get a chance :(
Symbionic Titan - now THERE's a show I wanted to continue :( At least they didn't completely leave us hanging... but MAN I wanted to see where it was going *cries*
Okay I'm still somewhere in Act1 and I have to say that the puzzles are NOT easier by any stretch, SOME puzzles will be a breeze for players of the original, but some require you to actually THINK before you start flying through the rooms.

As to other Hercules movies, trust me there are TONS of them, I think Italy...

It's okay Bob, it doesn't make you any less of a man. *gently pats him on the back*
But seriously, the Hercules movies (there are at least two if I recall correctly) are so supremely awful... It's both painful and...
I find it wanders sort of into 'non issue' territory, unless there's a specific REASON or BENEFIT to the character along the way. I'd prefer my characters be as non-sexual as possible in my games. I think DE-sexualizing characters unless there's a relevant NEED to do otherwise is a better...
The problem is, pandering is STILL pandering, and the 'everyone does it' answer is about as paper-thin as you can get.
I thought Dante's Inferno was an awful God of War wannabe, and I remember all their attempts at marketing it only reminded me how HARD they were trying to be 'cool' and...
Chair-meggadon sounds like something that should be fighting Godzilla... just sayin.
Also, Matt looked like he nearly broke his jaw trying not to laugh at "el Salvador".
You guys always crack me up.
I'm in agreement with you about the Tetris conspiracy, most assuredly!
(and I always thought Soylent Green was a way to make people more palatable... ;) )
