Why can you use a (phoenix down,Restoration spell, etc...) in battle, but when they die in a cut scene you can't bring them back?

I agree here, because The last time I was playing Domination the average 12 year old was gloating about his 30 kills... me and a friend just bitched out at him because he wouldn't shut up about it and he hadn't helped take or defend a base. Its annoying as hell, that said he is the 12 year old...
