Sounds like your GM is focusing a lot on the roleplay element and forsakes the tactics behind the game. The tactics are needed to keep the game in balance. Why not beat this guy at his own game? Start pushing the GM to overpower your character by allowing his HIDDEN ELF POWERS to be unlocked...
