Except that product of two decimal numbers gives as result a decimal number in wich the number of decimal digits equals the sum of the decimal numbers of the factors, not equal to the one that has less. As far as I've been aware "1337" was an insult to wannabe hackers by pro-hackers or "elite" hackers.
