But that kid has issues that need to be dealt with, he might have done something similar if hes girlfriend would have dumped him. Stop blaming games for everything that is wrong with youth. First it was book, then music, movies and now games, this hate is a fad and will pass by.

I think what people are focussing on is the fact that a ps3 is involved here. This is the sort of crap that would happen eventually, as the kind of kid that KILLS HIS OWN MOTHER IN HER SLEEP is going to snap and do something absolutely godawful eventually. It was just the timing that has brought it to the public eye.

They said the same things about comic books when they first came out, and has anybody heard of square eyes? Just ignore the ps3 part of this and judge the kid on the actual murder, please?

Well, I hope he gets what's coming to him. He said that his mother was the only one who cared about him. Well, jeez, I wonder why - he didn't even deserve his mother's love. Lock him up, throw away the key, let him rot in a cell for the rest of his miserable life. He deserves nothing from society, he deserves no respect.
