20,000 and rising!

My Xbox gamerscore just hit 20,000 with the completion of Bioshock 2 over the weekend! (It's 20,180 now.)

I don't play for gamerscore, I just play the games I enjoy. Now and then I'll attempt to hit a particular achievement, but it's usually for the achievement itself, not just the gamescore.

According to my stats, I have played 90 games, scoring 20,180 out of a possible 88,410 gamer score! (Obviously I'm not a completeist).

The only game I have full points on, is CSI Hard Evidence, with an amazing completion of 5 achievements out of 5, 1000 points! (Actually, my girlfriend scored those achievements, but it was on my account

Apart from that, the only games I have scored anywhere near the maximum achievement points are Assassins Creed II - 885/1000 points, Fallout 3 - 1020/1550, WWE Legends - 900/1000.

I generally don't play a lot of multiplayer, so miss out on all those achievements ;(

How about you? Do you care about your gamerscore? Do you try to boost it by replaying heaps of games and milking them for achievements? Have you scored maximum gamerscore on any games?

What's game score? Sounds like a cheap trick to try to get more replay value by getting people obsessed over it.

I care about the gamerscore of particular games. I am very, very proud of my 1000/1000 for both CoD2 And CoD4. Hopefully soon I'll be able to get 1000 for MW2 but getting someone to play Spec Ops at the same time that you want can be a pain.

No I don't care about it that much. I don't milk games I think its pointless. Gamerscore is just a number. I have 3 max at the moment. Mass Effect, Oblivion and Dragon Age Origins, but that one will change soon. I do however try to get at least 300 points on a game, I'm not sure why though, I just do.

My gamerscore is 12,629. (Checked my escapist profile)

I could honestly not care any less. The only game I have near completion is Oblivion, the only missing achievement is "Duke of Dementia". But thats because I'm a manic at heart. I can't Force myself to be all gloom and doom like those depressors.

The only time I have ever played a "boosting" gamerscore game was this Doritos's game.

But in my defense you got to play as a freaking dinosaur and chase cars.

Satisfying my Godzilla complex.

Yep, I certainly did!

Nope, but I got over 900 in Fable 2 including nailing the completionist achievement.

I've been looking for an excuse to use that. But yes, all very well and good. I use my achievement list to remember if I've 100% a game or not... I forget easily.

I'm an avid hunter of achievements, and I expect my score to pass 20,000 very soon. I HAD 4 games fully completed, but then they went and did the DLC crap on me >.<

I also like seeing my pointless number rise.

I didn't think there was an actual score tied to the things, just a tag saying you got one. I checked the case maybe once, after they started popping up in Fallout 3.

I've only got one platinum, that's inFAMOUS. I got Bayonetta yesterday and I'm gonna try get that platinum too. But other than very specific games, I never really try get the platinum.

And I did it all without playing any games that I didn't want to. Or even playing games JUST for the gamerscore.

I don't really care about my gamerscore. I don't replay games to get all of the achievements.
Ummm... I got the full 1000 gamerscore on a couple of games (Before the DLC achievements came out. Well, at least two I can think of, Oblivion and Halo 3.
But I've never been too bothered by achievements and gamerscore.
