for me it was (is) The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, just like i do every year. I feel that its best to start off a new year with the greatest game ever made. Sad thing is its gotten so easy i could beat it with my eyes closed. :/ A nice wave of amnesia would be more than welcome; how i miss the fear and excitement and pure adrenalin i got the first time i played this masterpiece.
