2011: Do we have a good gaming year ahead of us?

Looks like it's going to be the biggest year since 2007. I don't know if there are going to be enough new triple A IPs to call it a better year for gaming, but it's going to be a great way to kick off a new decade.

there is no bioshock 3
it's Bioshock infinite it's not a continuation of 2 nor a prequel to 1

I knew it was called infinite I just wanted to stick with the numbers
and Elder Scrolls 5 is actually called Skyrim

It will be good just because Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim are coming.
It will be great if The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword gets finished before this year is over. God it's so annoying that I have to say that now. I thought it was going to be out in January or February based on the E3 announcement, then they say it's just half finished a few weeks ago.

But oh well. 2010 was the best year in gaming ever for me.

And Dwarf Fortress might finally get the ability to siege other sites, depending on the time it takes to finish the caravan arc. It's going to be the meta-RTS, as if it weren't complex enough already.

Valve said they had 3 surprises, right? So Portal 2 and 2 other things, plus what you mentioned up there. It's looking real good to me.

The others will be TF3 and L4D3. XD I have a feeling it won't be HL2:episode 3/HL3.

Doubt it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they just keep updating TF2.

I'm a little hopeful here but I'd like to see some games that make good use of Kinect. The technology is there, it just needs some smart developers to back it up. IF Microsoft releases a Kinect API for XNA then we could see some pretty interesting games surfacing.

Besides that, we have all the stuff that's already been mentioned many times. ESV, 3DS, DNF, BSI, M3LA and whatever Valve pulls out of its hat (although that's very unlikely to actually be released this year). Oh and Stacking. I want Stacking. Now.
