I'm just glad 2010 is behind us. Such a dud year.
RDR was a nice surprise; better than I thought it would be. But I was really looking forward to New Vegas and that was such a letdown.
I want to play Skyrim but there's no way I'm getting it for a console. Mods are enough reason to get it for the PC; it's the user made patches that will make it probably the only version of the game that can actually work.
Duke Nukem forever could be cool (I loved Borderlands) but I can't say I'm too optimistic.

The only games I'm looking forward to this year are Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim and Gears Of War 3, hopefully they will keep to the scheduled release.
Also, in the not too distant future, the game that Mr. Del Toro is making, hopefully it will redefine the horror game genre.

Meh. I try not to get too hyped about anything. I believed long before I watched Yahtzee that hype does no one any good and we see continual proof every time a let down comes out.
Besides, I have a collection of older games to get through. I still have barely touched Mass Effect or Fallout New Vegas and I have a bunch of Gamecube games to start playing through when I get back to my Wii after winter break. Why yes, I am looking forward to cracking open my copies of Eternal Darkness and Beyond Good and Evil.

There are a lot of big releases coming out this year. Usually I'm hyper excited for one, maybe two games coming out in the near future. For 2011? I can think of like 10 that I'm seriously excited about. Hope I don't jinx myself like I did for Fable II...
Diablo III, Dead Space II, Assassins Creed III, Splinter Cell Collections, Ico/SotC Collection, Sly IV(hopefully), Batman; Arkham City, Mass Effect III.
