Seems overpriced, specially when I have a glass ball of obsidian which was for about $20. It even includes a base. But this? A glass ball for 250 grand? They must be kidding.

If it comes with the red cloth and stand under it, then I think it's a great deal.
Just put it in the middle of your room and look fancy.

However, I think that this person just wants that much money because he's at a dead end job with no prospects (probably because he spent his entire life playing Final Fantasy) and wants a large sum of cash to live off of.

Same, it better open a rift out of space and time to merit me taking out 2 mortgages on my house.

My dad calls this sort of thing the 'taxation of the stupid'. I'm inclined to agree with him.
Guess everybody walks away happy. Except the schmuck with the useless videogame memorabilia is going to experience a terrible moment of realization at some point.

I can understand high prices for rare stuff, but $250,000?
You could get a decentish house for that money!

What seriously?! I clicked on the link expecting a little more than that...I mean, where's the proof? And 50 isn't too few. Definitely not few enough to justify two-fifty G's!

No logo or anything? I would much rather have one of these:

Actually if you look at the other photos of it, it shows the FF marks on it.

I do kind of get the price, 50 made and solid crystal and it's from a game. I mean if people are willing to dress up as people from games they may be crazy enough to buy this.

There is also that skull thing that sold for millions (I think), it was just a human skull made out of diamonds or was coated in diamonds.

Icould buy my own glass melting equipment and enough sand to make thoasands of those glass balls for that price, with enough left over for a bag of those magical beans I'v been eyeing up.

Heeeeey - saw one of those when I was in Lowe's yesterday... except, y'know - it was bigger. And you can get it in a variety of colors too. Pay a little more and you can get a cute little stand to put it on and display in in your yard... or in your game room and then you can pretend you're a wizard! Entertain your friends and the neighbors that can see you across the way. And yet - you would still be less of a tool than the guy that spends a FUCKING QUARTER MILLION ON A PROP FROM A NES GAME COVER!
