Really? I didn't get any messed up hallucinations when I was up for 4 days straight...

I think...

Oh I hate you, i'm worried now!

DOCTOR WHO MARATHON!!!

Seriously though.. I know for a fact that this record has been broken before.. Hell.. I've broken it before just because I was bored and didn't want to sleep.. So the fact that a couple of idiots can watch a subpar tv show for that amount of time and get paid 10k from a declining 'World Record' book just pisses me off...

Yikes. 24 has some great seasons, but more of them are kind of duds. How many times did these guys hear the words "Dammit, Chloe! We're running out of time!" in those 86 hours?

A better TV show and I could beat them.

I'm almost possibly sure they had to be given some time to rest, drink, eat and sleep. Maybe some basic medical examinations so they won't die during the try. It should mention that.

Wow, 3 days and couple of hours straight? My body has it's limits and this is something.

Also, $10,000? That's another cherry on top.

i plan on doing this but with the Simpson's when the 19th season comes out thus proving i am an insomniac
for the record a normal season is 24 eps 13 for the first
at 22.50 a ep
20 seasons is 300+ eps at 22.50 minutes a piece
for a total of around 6600 minutes or 110 hrs

Holy Cow. That must've been a huge burden on their bodies, but hey, it's 24. The show's worth every second of viewing.

Hopefully they all got a good night sleep after this marathon.

Can someone confirm to me that stuff like this happens in 24?

Cuz I'd actually watch it if this stuff went on XD

I've stayed up for two days. whenever I played video games I always thought I saw a bad guy when it was just a wall, bucket, or lamp. Now im wondering how long some one has played video games?

Sounds to me like the "5-Hour Energy Drink" folks might want to get in on the sponsoring action here too.
That's like what 17 or 18 of those drinks?

As someone who has stayed up that long before, I can tell you that the visual hallucinations are a given, and they are not awesome, it's very hard to focus and usually you feel very scared.

Well, I couldn't do it. I can barely make it through a show that is less than thirty minutes long, never mind a marathon that surpasses the three-day mark.
