3 movies everyone must see before they die.

This is a hard choice, I've got a degree in media so narrowing down to just three films is difficult.
These are not my favourite films, but they are ones everyone should see:
12 Angry Men
Good Morning, Vietnam (It was this or Full Metal Jacket; which suffers with the second half).
The Trueman Show (just because I studied Post-Modernism,).
My favourtie films are
Patlabor
Batteries Not Included
Unbreakable (& The Brave One, I always put the two together for the way they reinvent the vigilante/hero genre)
Groundhog Day

Ok Watchmen AND District 9? Neither of these movies should be considered by anyone to be the most important you could see. District 9 was good, sure, but there are plenty of better movies out there. Also, Watchmen? REALLY? It pretty much tried to destroy the greatness of the graphic novel. So I'll limit myself to movies and only that. There are so many forms of visual media people need to see before they die. (Disney films, Looney Toones cartoons, any work of Pixar or Dreamworks, Bioshock, ...)
