There are some hot chicks in this movie from the looks of it, that's about all I have to say about it...

It looks like it might be funny to watch with friends, but not so much a "so bad it's good" thing, more of a "so bad its funny the filmmakers think it will be so bad it's good".
Also, it has "3D" in the title, so I would know it was terrible even if I hadn't seen the trailers.

So everyone there is this new movie comming out which I'm sure you've all seen the adds for on Youtube. Pirhana 3D, which from this trailer looks so utter crap, it almost looks good. (Yes that is Doc Brown from Back 2 the Future)

Obviosly the Back to the Future jokes are just going to poor right through, example:
"This paticular piranha vanished 2 million years ago" "Wait doc so your saying that those Piranha time traveled 2 million years into the future?" " Precisely." "Damn I'm late for school. -Marty McFly" -Some guy from Youtube.....

No matter how bad this movie is, it's always nice to see drunken over priveldged college kids get horribly killed XD
So what does the Escapist have to say about this? (I smell a meme forming XD)

I don't appreciate you're elitism and discontent towards college students, or indeed anyone else you would insult by calling a "kid," but I won't bother trying to steer you from you're breathtaking elitism and condescending attitude towards others. And according to you're profile which I just read, you are younger than me, and yet are intent on calling people who are largely older than you "kids."

The movie looks great though, and I don't disagree with you're feeling towards these people, as they were too stupid to listen to the commands of the person with the megaphone telling them to stay away from the lake.

Also, it's unrealistic because ocean fish could not survive in fresh water.

Jesus dude, it was just a joke, in the same way that the movie is meant to be a joke. (Never heard of the first two Piranha films? They were meant to be a "mockbuster" in the style of Jaws. The second one propelled James Cameron to stardom)

OT: It's an 18, so I can't go see it.
Looks like a good movie to watch with friends and a load of beer though.

at the very end of the trailer is it just me or did they rip the scene from alien 3 when the alien had ripley sitting pinned to the wall? they did that exact scene with some girl under water but with fish at the end.

Oh, hell yes. About half way through the movie, they seem to decide that no woman will be allowed to have a top on.

I loved this movie. From the very first image you see in the very first scene, I could not stop laughing.

I loved it. It was 90 minutes of pure mayhem and glee.

Anyone who doesn't like this movie is too young to have seen and understood the original. It's not made for you youngins at all, it's made for people who were too young for the first one and look back on it as a ridiculous piece of trash that will always have a place in our hearts.

Good to see I'm not the only one who can turn off the part of his brain that looks for.... well... anything good... and enjoy a movie like this.

When I first heard of this movie I thought it was going to be another shitty movie like Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus or Sharktopus (look it up, its like they thought "Hmm lets combine a Shark and an Octopus because that other movie with them in did so well"). I think it looks like Aja is adapting the classic to the modern age. I expect gratuitous violence and nudity, and that is what he aimed for.

But yeah, it looks bad. It will probably be worse than it looks. And I will most likely enjoy it for it sheer stupidity. Unless Christopher Lloyd gets killed, then I won't like it.

Salmon do it, plus Pirhana's are a fresh water fish. Plus the version that is used for the movie (a.k.a. The one that went extinct so many years ago) was cut off for all that time so they could have developed the ability to rapidly evolve so even if it was a salt water fish in the very distant past doesn't mean it still would be now.

I know it was a joke, I just came back to respond because I randomly started laughing about that picture, and good old Seth MacFarlan, so I came back to look at it and then responded too it. The movie looks awesome, I can't wait to see it.
