Obviously Leonidas used the Dead Ringer.samaritan.squirrel said:That's..Interesting. Didn't they all die in the first one?
Well a simultaeneous battle that occured was the Arteminius straits led by an Athenian called Thermysticlese because the war against Persia and even before Thermypolae united the greek nations (didnt last long but meh lol) n im nt sure of the battles name persay but i knw the Persian forces were giving a bloody good kickign as far as iv ever known so it could be around the war that follows? though someone has raised the point its based on a 'currently in the works' follow up comic so it probably won't be and will probbaly SUCK lolPandalisk said:but what do they plan to do? the battle after the battle of thermopylae? i forget its name, though i do love my spartans.
Well remember, Michael Crichton got paid a million bucks by Hollywood to crank out Jurrassic Park 2, so that he would have justification to do a sequel movie, so there could be some of that crap going on here as well.Altorin said:If there was a sequel comic, and that sequel was well recieved, then I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
If they're just going to pull stuff out of their ass, then I'll lol and spend my money elsewhere kthx
Also because Marathon happened before the battle of Thermoplyae, 10 years before.ChromeAlchemist said:Because it's not based off a graphic novel, Snyder wouldn't know wtf he is doing.Cody211282 said:Why not do the battle of Marathon?
Either that or Salamis or the sacking of Athens, neither of which had spartans.Wasder said:I don't reckon it's stupid. Platea anyone?

I meant sequel ideas, not sequels that actually happened.shadowstriker86 said:what about the 3 ninja's sequels?Mordwyl said:If there hasn't been the worst sequel idea ever yet, this would definetly top the rankings.
Wasn't thar in the end of 300?Necrith said:my friend explained that after the event of 300, they came back with a bigger army, and WTFPWND every one even harder.
sounds good to me
I'll leave it out because I don't want to derail my own thread, but I wasn't entirely happy with it. I feel Snyder's directing would have worked on any other film but that one, and I still think Watchmen is unfilmable.danskrobut said:wait a minute what do you have against the watchmen that was a great movieChromeAlchemist said:Source [http://uk.movies.ign.com/articles/100/1007557p1.html]
Anyone else think this is shitstacks retarded or is it just me? The film was a goddamned universal hit, even though it wasn't technically amazing from a critical viewpoint, but almost everyone loved it (including myself). But a sequel? Isn't that pushing it?
In my opinion, he should be a comic book nerd's dream director, he practically traces graphic novels and comics and translates them to film. But he shouldn't have done Watchmen, and he shouldn't be doing this if you ask me.
I would pay to see that ^^countrysteaksauce said:3001: The Rise of Mecha-Leonidas
The did. Two of them in fact.magnuslion said:UltraLametastic. the director/writer must be flaming batshit wonky. this is the worse idea, ever. like if they had made a sequel to the Neverending story.
