I own both, and have to say they're both worth while. PC has a lot more freedom and the games are generally more tightly knit to a certain taste, whilst still having enough games to cater for everyone. The multiplayer is a lot more extensive and chaotic, and all in all is a good laugh.

Xbox 360 is less hassle, (no installing) and has games which generally anyone would be happy to play. The online multiplayer is a lot more social, and there are some half decent options for drowning out the 9 year olds. All in all, its better if you're a little more laid back about online gaming.

Both cater for be quite well, so I'm sure other people will see the benefits of both

Personally, I find it quite easy to mute stupid players, and have never had a problem with lag. That might be just me though. Maybe my ISP is a bit more suited to Live

well, most of the 360 exclusives will come to PC soon. theirs not a lot of point in spending £250 on a console out of sheer impatience. so I would not advise it. maybe a PS3 since their exclusives will not go to PC.

I've got a good gaming PC, but my decision to get the 360 was easy.

Three words:

Ace
Combat
6
Isn't that coming to the Ps3?
It is? Sheesh they're as slow as EPIC.
The rumor is that it'll be hitting the PS3 this year.

Maybe if they hadn't waited so damn long I'd have a shiny black PS3 rather than a 360 in my house and wouldn't have to be trying to justify a PS3 purchase so I can play God of War 3 and the upcoming successor to Guilty Gear. The PS3 lineup is finally starting to shape up though, the upcoming exclusives really do sound intriguing (that 250 player per server game definitely nudged my old Planetside braincells into firing again which makes me ^_^).

Hey there. I own a good gaming PC, a really good one, but lately it seems that a lot of games isn't coming out on the PC.
Chances are, if there aren't games coming for PC, then there aren't any coming for the 360 either - almost everything has a PC version coming out for it. Next on the list of "anticipated" is Clear Sky, BIA: Hells Highway and Mercs 2.

There, just go there and uncheck all the non PC 360 things, and you shouldn't have anymore questions.

As for the PS3's price, I didn't know it was 100 dollars more, I see 360's for 350 + LIVE = 400 - which is how much my 80 gig cost me :|

When I got my 360, I stopped playing games on my PC. My good friend bought a PS3 when it came out. He spent one day playing games on my 360 and then he bought one. He hasn't touched it PS3 since. But, it is all a matter of taste. My buds and I just prefer the exclusives on teh 360 better than the PS3. But yes, they will eventually all be on the PC.

Depends on a few factors.

Is your PC hooked into a large TV?

Do you think that the former question is all that relevant?

If you had a 360 would you take it to LAN parties?

Do you hate the nessesitated installation of PC games?

Do you plan on buying several games for the 360?

Do you believe a gamepad is tremendously more comfortable than a mouse and keyboard?

Do you think the former question is all that relevant?

Are you an "Achievement Whore?"

No to the first and yes to the rest means "Buy that 360 soon." Yes to the first and no to the rest means "Why were you even considering a console?" And mostly one or the other gives the same answers, just not as extreme.
