Well I just got a 360 Slim for my Bday (my first Xbox-ANYTHING)
and because we couldn't out and out afford a real "game" we bought me some MS points (because I REALLY wanted Castle Crashers)

so my question for you is

What's a good 360 game?

now my few rules

nothing fallout (because I prefer computer for that)
nothing halo or gears (I hate halo and gears)

and I already plan on getting MvC3 and the new Castlevania (and sonic 4... *cough*)

so what's your favorite?

ALSO!
if any of you are huge Castle Crasher fans, be sure to let me know, once I get XBL for a month I really need to group up with some crashers (I can get from level 1 to level 40 in about an hour)

EDIT: oh and people, I'm a bit of an Arcade addict, so XBLA games are the right way to go!

Dead Rising (original), Banjo Kazooie (pure awesomeness) Deadly Premonition (it's really good)
Deadly Premonition, and Deadly Premonition. (Did I mention I like Deadly Premonition?)

I didn't care for Deadly Premonition personally

And I have Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie... the only good ones if you ask me

Dead Rising I'm planning on getting both eventually!

Reach. I know you don't like Halo, neither do I, but I have to admit, this is one of the best Xbox games.

Oh [PROTOTYPE] is pretty ace, Red Dead and modern easten European twin..

I'm talking about Nuts and Bolts. It was awesome. Also, the Perfect Dark remake on XBLA was pretty good, but noone plays online :( (Deadly Premonition) Call of (Deadly) Duty 3 is fun online, and Viva (Premonition) Pinata was supposed to be fun.

I didn't like Reach all that much

and Prototype is THE sandbox game I'm getting (no GTA4, no grand theft horse- I mean RDR, JUST prototype)

Go to XBLA and get Shadow Complex immediately! Not just good for an XBLA game, good for an XBOX game. Other than that there ar tons of mainstream AAA titles we could throw at you, but it all comes down to personal choice. I for example loved Mirror's Edge, The Force Unleashed and Borderlands. You might not, but I think these are worth checking out. Bad Company 2 is good for some online FPS fun. Psychonauts is a great original XBOX game avaliable for download.

Have fun:)

Mirrors edge I was looking into then desided to just replay the daytime levels of Sonic unleashed

force unleashed, again have on wii

borderlands is on my steam want list (I prefer PC to Xbox for shooters)

also I'm not much of an online player, honestly the only thing I want to play online is Castle Crashers and MvC2

(my current games are "Castle Crashers" "Alien Hominid HD" and "Marvel vs Capcom 2"

SUPER MEAT BOY.

OUT WEDNESDAY ON XBLA. IT'S AWESOME.

In other news: I'm enjoying Borderlands just now, and the Mass Effect games are must-play.

If you just have MS points for now, get Braid. It's an awesome puzzle-platformer.

I was also gonna recommend Shadow Complex, but you don't seem like the action-y games. However, if you like old 2-D action games likes Castlevania, Metroid, Contra, then definitely get it.

Oh, and also get Mass Effect 1 & 2 if you like story-driven games.
I'm going to look into Shadow Complex

as for Braid, it would be pretty stupid to get it on 360 when I already have it on steam

I KNOW!
AND YOU CAN PLAY AS THE KID FROM I WANNA BE THE GUY!

in your other news: borderlands I'd prefer on computer, and mass effect I'll look into but it's on the bottom of my games list (I'm not made of money- but I do have a 25% off my next EA game... mass effect...)

Ok then, don't listen to my advice. I'll just go over here and play Deadly Premonition (sob)
at least Deadly Premonition loves me.
I take peoples advise

I just didn't care for it
I also didn't like LIMBO all that much... way over priced considering the length of the "game"

That's fair, although it must be said that force unleashed is totally different on Xbox. Tales of Vesperia is a great (and by great I mean BLOODY EXCELENT) jrpg. It's active combat so it's engaging and really quite fun. Again, Shadow Complex is friggin' amazing. I dunno...Mass Effect 1 + 2 are good, Assasin's Creed 1 + 2...it's hard to say really. There are a lot of great games out there. I would download Shadow Complex, and then just go nuts.
