(Note how I said from and not 4chan in general. It just took place there and the rest of them had nothing to do with it. )
Funny how no-one says this when it comes to things like gore, CP, and the rest of the things it supposedly has a bad reputation for.

Dusty the cat. Look it up.

Anonymous has a heart from time to time.

OT: Honestly, I was expecting this guy to get flooded with PayPal donations from anons everywhere. But this is still nice.

Just goes to show you. Not every troll on the planet is a heartless..... troll....

Shutup c*ckmonger! I know what im trying to say!

What i mean is, sure, theres alot of genuine a-holes out there, but then there are the good trolls, who know that the occasional good deed can make up for a weeks worth of trolling.

4chan of all places, I guess /b/tards can be good for something other than memes and lulz.

A bit too late to say "inb4 everybody makes a big show of acting surprised".

Too many people are willing to forget that the image Anonymous deliberately projects for itself is similar to the mask a jaded niceguy wears when life deals him one too many crap hands, or when he goes through life bending over backwards to please everybody and gets taken for granted. Anonymous, for the most part, is full of people who are empathic, kind and considerate in real life, and that often manifests on 4chan in very noticeable ways if you're willing to dig deep enough. Some of the most heartfelt, insightful advice I've ever received usually comes from a kind Anon distributing sincere wisdom regarding his/her experience with whatever the subject at hand is; all you have to do is sift through the (admittedly amusing) crap.
Wait... what? Aren't 4Chan and Anonymous two different things?

The story about William J. Lashua is a better example of how kind 4chan can be

Story in a nutshell: old veteran looks for people for his birthday party, anonymous answers.
*Sniff* That....That makes me so happy.

I find it funny that people continue to mention "anonimous" and "4chan" as single-minded private-army like entities, when, in fact, it's an image board anyone can access and has the feature of keeping it's posters relatively anonymous.

That's it.

Still, cool story bro.

>I sure love mah forced memes.

I'm just kind of wondering why he didn't sell his camera to feed his dogs/himself.
Then again when your starving and need money quick you wouldn't think to sell your camera, your probably looking for something bigger or he borrowed the camera off someone else.

Awwww. Now I feel all fuzzy and warm inside. ^^

Thanks for posting this! I needed cheering up. Broke two toes yesterday and now I can't drive home over Christmas. This thread has seriously improved my mood. :)
Surely you can drive using your heel or by putting on some extra thick socks/band aids?

OT: It still doesn't change my opinion of 4Chan. I'm not going to like them all of a sudden just because of this. I respect the two guys who donated money, but this wasn't 4Chan's doing... It was two randoms.

Though they helped dusty by attacking its (abusive) owner, Search Kenny Glenn on ED.
