1. The Tragically Hip
2. Rheostatics
3. Rhapsody (of Fire)
4. The Proclaimers
5. The Violent Femmes

Although realistically in a case of end of world/divine intervention there probably wouldn't be alot of music listening happening, and probably alot more mindless terror and the wetting of pants.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds/ Grinderman
Distrubed
The Who (if all are alive).
Rolling Stones
Queens of the Stone Age
Primus (if I can't get the original Who).

Shit this was hard. I had to make a lot of cuts. I might rearrange my alternative to replace The Who if I couldn't get Entwistle and Moon back.
Edit. Crap, I just realize I forgot NoFX. I think Primus gets the cut then and QotSA gets bumped to the alternative spot. Now my list looks like
Nick Cave
Distrubed
The Who (only if I can get all the old members)
Rolling Stones
NoFX
Queens of the Stone Age (if I can't get The Who).

4. Breaking Benjamin
5. Since it's God giving me survival, can I have him give me Kurt so I can have Nirvana?
Who are you and why aren't we best friends?

1. The Beatles
2. The Who
3. The Jimi Hendrix Experience
4. Pink Floyd
5. Robert Johnson

Then everyone nails the singer in "The Great Gig in the Sky" and repopulates the Earth, and it will be better than ever.

The Pogues
Public Enemy
Pig Destroyer
The London Philharmonic Orchestra
Pelican.

I think that saves enough of a broad range that I'd not get bored.

3. The Violent Femmes
4. Dresden Dolls

I'd ask GOD which one's would have the most positive influence on the new society and save them. In the presence of the Almighty, my opinion doesn't really matter.
