while i have no intention of getting that game, you have another hopeChar-Nobyl said:Goddamnit. That's...KiloFox said:actually not possible... Lycans and Vampyr have disease immunity, making it impossible to catch both (or so i am informed)Char-Nobyl said:Lycanthropy? Don't be boring...KiloFox said:CATCH LYCANTHROPY! then do everything else... EVERYTHING ELSE.... which will probobly start with building a small lycanthropic army... sweet....
...and stop there. Catch lycanthropy, and then try to catch polyphoric hemophilia. Because let's be frank: there's been too much talk among the fanbase of vampire-werewolf hybrids in Skyrim for it to have been ignored entirely.
Wait a minute. Both of those have a gestation period, right? I know that polyphoric hemophilia did in Oblivion. That time when you 'have' the disease that will turn you into a vampire, but you haven't actually turned yet?
New hope! And frankly, if my wild-mass-guessing is actually right, a brilliant gameplay device: it's ludicrously difficult to contract both within the same narrow window, making a cross-breed something genuinely special...
...unless turning into a vampire/werewolf automatically wipes away any pre-existing conditions, of course. That actually would seem far more likely.
Oh well. I'm still probably going to catch them in relatively quick succession, if nothing else than for the quests I know will be associated with them. From there, I'll probably start hitting the Daedric shrines. Those were easily some of the best highlights out of Oblivion, and I see no reason that would've changed.
