"Don't drive Kevin to car"
I'd say that last June. I wrecked my beloved 79 Ranchero GT because I drove my friend Kevin to pick up his car from an autoshop in a major rainstorm. Land yacht+lotsa water on a downhill slope=landyacht living up to its name and sailing into a semi. Luckily no one was hurt (I had only a small bruise on my forearm, the cop said I probably would have been seriously hurt if I was in a newer vehicle) and somehow the car drove home (the chassis was bent pretty badly so it was unfixable, but the old monster just needed a bumper and some headlights to be road worthy again).
At least I ended up getting a '77 Cadillac about a month or 2 later, so it wasn't all bad (the gas mileage is, but having driven massive late 70's cars my whole driving career I'm used to it).
