Indeed, I should likely edit my original post as it is somewhat misleading. I also hear stores of such events from my roommate. She has a masters in child psychology. To be honest i don't really listen to what she says since I find it dreadfully boring.

I'm surprised she didn't tell you that fetal males are found to be playing with their genitals in ultrasounds.

It may or may not be masturbation but its interesting when challenging the (mostly religiously based) social norms for how brains act and how development works.

She actually never has mentioned that. Though I believe you raise a good point. Most children doing it, by that I mean playing with themselves, don't understand what they're doing. The simply discovered that it feels good so they do it without any real concern for social morality or the like.

Naturally though the concept and action of rape at such a young age is a whole different ballpark than this.

I'm not sure, but I assume the people on the site give the news to artefact(the main poster) from their local news. The people on that site come from practically every nation on the globe. besides, some of the scary stuff actually has pictures so I doubt any of it is made up.

It's really hard to think of a punishment for something like this. As far as I know, it's not very common. It sucks that terrible things aren't just done by stupid adults. One things for sure, counseling is a given. For both kids. Really, counseling should be a given for all serious crimes. Do you think jail time will make people think that killing is wrong? Most killers are very messed up in the head. I don't think being around more people who are messed up with help much. Not that I don't want them in jail and away from me . More over, I'm not saying he doesn't deserve jail time or other punishments, I'm just saying counseling would probably be of most use, considering he's 9.
