really need to get around to finishing that game...
Zelda games are not action RPGs. They're adventure games. [/nerdrage]

OT: Like the OP, I've never beaten DK64. Mainly because I suck at Donkey Kong. Also I've never beaten Glover or Oblivion.

Banjo Kazooie.

Fuck you last (I think) level where you have to answer all the stupid questions on the game show puzzle board....thing, especially the ones where the answer you can only get by you talking to the witch's sister periodically through ought the game and write down what she says for this moment in the game, or face insta-death.

I still have Heavenly Sword unbeaten. I'm at the final boss, but I couldn't beat it one night, and then kind of forgot about it. Now I haven't played it in a long while, and probably couldn't beat the boss.
This happens to me a lot. I have played through Metroid Prime three times and failed to one shot the final boss in each, so I leave it till the next day, but forget about it. Currently I'm on the last Dr. Nefarious fight (at least I think its the last) in Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal in the same situation, haven't touched the game for about 2 weeks. :/

I never truly completed a Pokedex in a Pokemon game.
Never?

Just leave. Now. I don't want to see you here again until you have. You are a disgrace to the entire community of Pokemon players.

*Starts crying for a lost comrade*
I probably shouldn't say this, but I've never even come close to beating a Pokemon game. I always get to the third or so gym in Diamond, and think "Ugh, this is getting tedious. I'm bored." and I stop playing. Please don't kill me, Marter.

OT: On Modern Warfare 2, I could have gotten 100% on the campaign. I could have, easily. I just didn't even bother finding those damn Intel laptops. I wasn't going through the entire campaign again, even if it was awesome, just to search every room and corner for a briefcase.

Oh, you say I could just use a walkthrough? I'm still too lazy. Especially when some Intel is at the end of a level.

I never finished Trauma Center: Under the Knife. I would have, but I let my sister borrow it and she "accidently" saved over every file. Even though I specifically told her not to save where my file was.

I was in the last set of operations, too... I tried getting back to it, but Reuben and his Triti GUILT annoy the piss out of me. I can't believe I ever actually beat that stage. Triti is such a ***** to operate on.

Holy shit, I actually remember this game, playing in the garage at 6 AM, I never beat it aswell. Now I'll have to go searching through bins in case I find it again.

Most of my 360 games, sadly. They were most often just too boring and monotonous. Now I can't finish them thanks to a dead 360.

Has anyone besides me finished a Pokedex?
Yes I did! Together with a friend who had Pokemon Blue. Getting that Omastar as my last entry was one of the most joyful experiences in my young life.

I wouldn't mind the searching for Tri Force pieces if it wasn't for the endless non-interactive staring at those excruciating sailing bits!
Sure that was dull, I usually got something to drink and hoped sharks wouldn't pop up, but at least it made the world feel like an actual, big world to explore. I never forget that feeling of seeing an island pop up for the first time, especially when it's in a really desolate spot, and explore it for the first time. I felt like Galileo! The adventuring music helped too.

Unlike, say, Mass Effect 2.

currently I'm somewhat addicted to 100%ing Lego Star Wars lol
Same here. I can't be arsed to complete the pictograph "mini-"quest.

I did actually collect everything in both Lego Star Wars games once. Took it's sweet time, and for little reward, if I remember correctly.

Red Alert 2's allied campaign. I always got stuck on the bit where you only get a team of SEALS to wipe out an entire Soviet base. -_-

Donkey Kong Country, I'm still stuck on the final boss after, uh, what is it now, twelve years? Ugh. I need to get around to it, but its so very disheartening that such an old game keeps kicking my ass so close to the finish line!

Marter: I have completed a pokedex, Yellow. including Mew. Never done one since. Never played a pokemon game since.

OT: FFIX. I got to the final boss I beat him up, I cheered for my victory, it dropped SURPRISE Boss on me. I switched it off. Just massively pissed me off that I had to fight a boss with no background, one they had invested no time in. He was just there because he was there. I haven't played it since. I bought it when it came out. It's sitting on my shelf languishing in the shame corner. And it is a shame too, as the rest of the game is awesome.

I still have half a ton of PS1 games from years ago that i have still never completed due to difficulty. I'm not the best of gamers but i swear that games such as Lego Racers and Croc were built top be unbeatable...

Off topic slightly - has anyone ever heard of Hogs of War for the PS1, it seems to be a game where I bought the only copy..

Assassin's Creed 2.

Keep in mind that I fell in love with the first one, so I went head-over-heals for the second.

I do this a lot. It was only after beating Assassin's Creed that I 'matured' as a gamer, and inherited that completionist attitude which now forced me to beat games, or suffer complete apathy. Fun!

Call of the Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth
Resident Evil 4 (This one is soon to come, I swear it!)
Dead Space (So, so close... O.O)
Final Fantasy X (Currently working on this one)
Final Fantasy XI (I loaned it out to some jackass who let his dog eat it. Worst mistake of my gaming life - one of my favorite games too. I need to Amazon a new one! >.<)
Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (I've never beat the main quest. I 'spose that's just from the Dark Brotherhood being so much better. ^.^)
Resident Evil (I was working on this, until out of the blue FFX decided that it suddenly was 'disc readable' again.)

Edit: I'm so glad I gave away my Pokemon games. I'm sure, that now I would waste away trying to catch them all. O.O
