Yes, I have. I completed the Pokedex in Pokemon Yellow.

OT: Persona 3. I just couldn't beat Nyx. Bloody cheap-ass bastard!

Though I have started many times, I have never beaten Majora's Mask, and I certainly will never beat it 100% (unless I use guides, which defeats the point)

American McGee's Alice and Silent hill 2-4. The latter I'm planning to finish them this holidays, I actually installed the games yesterday.

Maybe I shouldn't tell you this, but I've never even come close to halfway finishing the pokedex. I just pick out 6 pokemon to train and then kick the elite four's ass.

I haven't completed Arkham Asylum. There's just one thing I can't find. In Shadow Complex I have the same problem.
Noooooooo!!!!

Another one that I had faith in has let me down. I actually don't know you. sorry.

Has anyone besides me finished a Pokedex?
I caught 'em all in Pokemon Blue. In fact, I even used a glitch to catch Lugia and Tyranitar in my Blue version, although they're just glitches with placeholder sprites until you trade them to Gold/Silver.

After that, though, I didn't manage to 100% any other games. I've gotten close in generations 2 and 3, but those damned event-only legendaries are getting me down...

I probably shouldn't say this, but I've never even come close to beating a Pokemon game. I always get to the third or so gym in Diamond, and think "Ugh, this is getting tedious. I'm bored." and I stop playing. Please don't kill me, Marter.
This is...saddening to say the least. Hmm... I don't really know what to say to this, except:
Beat it NOW!

Yes I did! Together with a friend who had Pokemon Blue. Getting that Omastar as my last entry was one of the most joyful experiences in my young life.
Good for you as well! :)

Yes, serveral times actually. In Red, Emerald and Diamond.

Except for those Pokemon only given away by events because none of those come down here
Well...good on you for getting all the ones you could get, but that doesn't quite count. :p
sheogoraththemad said:
I didn't finish one either, hell i didn't even finish the game
*Cries*

Why not? Go beat it!
Macgyvercas said:
I came close. I got 144 out of 150, but ran out of people who would trade with me.
Then it doesn't count. You came close, but not quite. No gold star. :(
SirBryghtside said:
I've come close, on 4th gen!

I only have Deoxys, Shaymin, Darkrai and Arceus to go, and I've never hacked - I really want RBY, as they sound ridiculously easy in comparison to what I've done.

489, man!
You also come very close, and at least all the ones you are missing are difficult to get. You get half a good job from me. :p

Finished R/B/Y's and D/P's.
Very good. You are a good person for doing that. :)
Aardvark Soup said:
Nope. I usually filled 75% to 80% of it before I got bored and started a new game, which I did about four times with Pokemon Yellow.
No. Go do it. Stop reading this post and the rest of the ones here at The Escapist and finish your Pokedex. I'll wait.
Zagzag said:
I actually have, but it was a while ago in Emerald
Doesn't matter what generation, good job for doing it.

I've only ever finished one on Silver.. The rest I was far too lazy for.
You still did it, so good job you! Now do it in SoulSilver. Not as easy. :p

Yup! All 151 in Blue.
Good job for doing that. Even better that you got 151 as opposed to 150. At that point, most people claim to be done.

Well done then. Went the extra mile in Blue! :)
Okay, final tally for people who responded:

Pokedex complete RBY: 7
Pokedex complete GSC: 1
Pokedex complete RSE: 2
Pokedex complete DPP: 2
Nearly complete any: 3
Didn't beat the game: 2

Good job guys! ^_^

The final boss, or the guy in the bottom of the mine? Either way, I'm going to say the same thing, as I've gotten to about the middle of the mine and just got lazy.

I never completed Viewtiful Joe. I dunno why, maybe it was the grind of the beat-em-up formula? Also, I'd owned Fallout 2 and beat it twelve different ways in a week. In Classic Fallout, I haven't even left the starting cave.

Oblivion.
Each time I played, I switched back to Morrowind after one or two hours.
Simply because I don't give a f**k about graphics, and Morrowind is the better game(just the incredibly dull story of Oblivion...).
And Fallout 2.
Lost my pre-ending savegame at a BSOD/sytem crash and never had a desire to try again since...

Soul silve, half way I simply lost interest in the game, I just grew tired. I also never finished Zelda: Links Awakening, awesome story, good game, but i lost interest in it.

Fabel on PC, and yeah i liked it but anyway i rushed though the story and went past a point of no return and due to me bring a lowish level the final boss was next to impossible.

I very nearly finished all of Fallout 3 and it's expansions (in that, I have all but one achievement). I gave up looking for ingots in the Pitt. Never did get that sweet Tribal Power Armor. Not that I needed it I suppose - even with official content I had plenty of better choices. Hell, the best power armor in the game could be had easily enough simply by beating the first bit of DLC.
yea but that kinda understandable fallout 3 is huge allthough i got 100% on its trophies i can't believe i spent so much time on that game but i had fun

I never finished Prince of Persia the Two Thrones because I couldn't get past the well of ancestors segment.
I had a similar run in with that game. Wherever the part is where you move statues around. Couldn't figure it out, didn't want to use a walk through and had to reformat my computer later on. Never bothered.

There's probably about six PS3 games in my collection that I haven't finished. Another five that has never even been in my PS3.

Persona 4 is one that I can remember. Got to the final boss for the Normal Good ending, got the second of two bosses down to really low health, I was on full health and he owned me in his two turns(Boss gets two turns rather than just one). Considering it took me an hour odd to kill the first boss and get the second boss down to such health, as you can imagine, I wasn't very happy about having to start over. Haven't touched it since. I was going to go for the True Good Ending too, sigh.

Not the final boss. After that there's a giant mine that you explore and there's... something else at the bottom. I don't remember what.
