Awesome review, I particularly liked the part, where....

In real life if I am driving a car I am 'allowed' to run someone over. Physics 'allows' the acceleration of my vehicle towards the gawping pedestrian, laws of momentum 'facilitate' my murderous intent, even if the Highway Code and the lawmen frown upon it. Why, then, am I not a serial killing road bandit?
Yeah that part!

Oh Jesus, I've never had a review make me laugh and think at the same time, I'm really, really impressed. You make a good point, too, Bioshock does seem to be up on some academic pedestal, not because it's groundbreaking, but because it's simply one of the first to nudge the old grey matter in the direction of philosophy.

I applaud thee sir. Your words plucked me from my chair and took me on a wondrous journey indeed. I hope to maintain a rapport with your ramblings. Flabbergasted.

Your review surpassed the quality of mine at about the end of the title! My pint size top hat is not only off but sitting on the floor dumbstruck by the intellectual comedy that you deliever. Good show old bean!

Okay, sorry to break up the party, but I did find something wrong.

It's "whine", not "whinge." Unless without a "g" is an American only spelling.

'Whinge' is a word, it means much the same as 'whine', but I think it sounds a bit better. Cracking open my OED:

'whinge: Brit. informal v.(whinges, whingeing or whinging, whinged) complain persistently and peevishly. n.an act of whingeing.

It seems to have the same origins as whine, but with a lovely British spin.

I was about to instantly jump to your defence Gigantor. I must say whinge at least twice a day and being British actually whinge pretty much all the bloody time. Also I whinge a fair bit more than the most common of British people for I myself am Welsh, and god do we have a lot to whinge about.

Of course, after reading this, it no longer sounds like a real word. Congratulations.

Ah. Darn you British, your misspellings, your "biscuits," and darn your spoilers!

Do I win a prize?
No prizes for destroying words. You can, however, have a prize if your name comes from Brass Eye. I'm pretty easy to win over like that.

Ever noticed how you can say 'whinge' over and over again and it'll stop sounding like a word, but if you say 'dactylic heptameter' over and over again it carries on sounding mostly the same? Maybe it's just because it sounds stupid in the first place .

Whinge was a word created by the British to lure unsuspecting Americans into looking like dolts. Hey you Brits! don't you know we invented English in 'Merica?

I adore this review. At first I was like "Oh dear, a long review" and then I got to reading it and it slid before my eyes like silk. Wonderful, please persist.

A quick visit to GameFAQ's reveals that, although harvesting the little sisters results in more ADAM, the game offsets this with bonus gifts for those who save the kiddies. Perhaps it would have been braver for the devs to make it so that saving the little sisters actually made the game noticeably harder?
they give you gifts, because if it was harder to save them, very few people would.

on the subject of your review, you should be wrighting for the escapist (or possibly something bigger) and as many people have said: Contact Them Now! we could use another weekly feature on this site, to offset yahtzees rambling, you could be more thought provoking, and intellectual.

My oh my, blew me away with a wonderful review and he knows the Brass Eye, we are onto a winner here chaps. I did kind of destroy it didn't I? Can I get away with it if I say I was whacked out on Cake? You can puke yourself to death on this stuff - one girl threw up her own pelvis-bone. What a fucking disgrace.

The review was great, but I find myself going 'hmm' rather than using it to decide if I should buy the game or not. It did a good job of being pretty objective, but out of respect for your talent I'm gonna to be honest with you.

I would read your reviews any time, but probably look at them like I do with Zero Punctuation. It's informative, but it's so focused on being funny (which it is) that I would probably use a more direct and serious review to decide if I want to buy the game.

A good example is that I watch ZP for fun, but I go to Gametrailers when I want to know if a game is purchase worthy. They both are great and helpful, but in different ways.

Now I'll expose my neck as I'm sure someone is about to cut it off for being critical.
