A Breaking World ((Chapter 2: An Enlightened Path))

"My chieftan was very...vague about what to do. He just told me to head to ganutcha. It was like he knew this would happen. Like he knew that from ganutcha, i would be guided to it."

I never thought about it like that before. Could he really have known? Maybey, he didn't send me for wildrus after all. This is confusing.Perhaps, he saw the message that searched for the strongest warriors.No that's impossible...or is it?

"That's why I said only choice." Repel said with a slight chuckle

"Unless you'd rather bury it or.. put it in that portal.."

"Would that work at all? Or would the totem be an important part in bringing us to life?"

"Um, No. It just keeps us alive. I prefer to have it with me until we get Wildrus..." Evela said as he patted the large wooden pole, "It makes sure it safe. I would really suggest not throwing it into Purgatory though, That would not end well. I mean, throwing something that is tethered to this world, to another world... It would not end well..."

"So, when are we gonna get going?The longer we wait, the less chance we have of succeding."

Finally we're out of there...That place gave me the creeps..

Alicia was glad to be outside of the Purgatory world, still amazed by the magic that the demon possessed. However, the fact she wasn't still alive disturbed her. It seems at this point, she was forced to stay with this group if she wants to live once again. The girl was not very talkative, but she listened attentively to the group's conversations so that she may not be confused later on.

"What are the chances we will be attacked on our travels?" inquired Alicia, gazing at the safely small dot on her hand while leaning against a tree.

"And, what happens if we get killed again, even though we're already dead?"

Before he left Muhnat had pulled something out of his pocket and placed it on the ground.
Phase three complete.
Muhnat walked through the 'portal'.
'So we're going for The Enlightened ey? A tip for talking to the leaders are speak up to them, it appeals to their sense of pride.'

"TO be honest, I have no idea. I am honestly glad this spell actually worked." Evela explained, hiking the post over his shoulder, "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind."

He took a few steps, "Shall we go?"

"Sure. i'm in the mood for a good fight."
he said following evela

"The faster we get there, the faster I'm alive again..." commented Alicia and she began to follow Evela while inspecting the layout of the forest surrounding them.

Orin grinned at Alicia's words. He'd come to the same conclusion himself "I like your thinking..." He let his sentence trail off, hoping she would give him her name.

"Name's Alicia." she replied with a sly smile towards Orin. At least there's someone that I can relate with.

"And yours would be?"

Making sure he was one of the last ones out, Chreos saw Muhnat place something upon the ground but didnt stay to see what it was. He made it out in time to hear th explanation of the dot, and the totem. Wonderful, spell doesnt wear off so I cant get my illusion back to full strength he thought to himself but it's all for a good cause... dont want that to happen anywhere else he thought looking over his shoulder at the ruins of the town

"So we are going to the enlightened first? You seems to know a lot about them, anything important we should know?" he asked Muhnat

'Well they may try and convince me back, me and my parents research got them were they are today.'
He pulled out his sword.
'See this sword? It was forged and enchanted by me, it can make any magic that goes through it ten time more powerful plus it's as light as dagger.'
He put it back.

 

[Zirat]

"So the enlightened got where they are on the backs of your familys labors, eh?" he said mockingly "You said you were Mahnut right? Name doesnt ring a bell, and you can just call me Chreos"

"Hmm. That's pretty good," everett said, pulling out his swords, "Mine were enchanted too, but only with frost. It's come in handy a few times."
He sheathed his swords again.

 

[Crayzor]

"I'm Orin." He meant to say more, but a thought suddenly ocurred to him. Turning to Evela, he spoke, not bothering to address the demon by name. "You knew this was going to happen, before it did. That's why you contacted us. So why didn't you arrange to meet us outside the town? It would have been just as simple, and, as far as I can see, we wouldn't have had to die." As he spoke, anger began to seep into his voice.

'We never got the credit, ridicules. My parents died for them and all they got was a shallow grave.'
He spat.
'Thats why I left, my parents should of been the leaders.'

 

[Zirat]

"That's the problem with factions, you can usually do more not tied down to them." he said and looked at Everett showing off his swords.

"That's good if you want it I guess, mine is just a simple sharp blade, and that's all I need."

 

[One Seven One]

"Orin has a point, why didn't we meet outside of the city?" He asked with a hint of anger in his voice.

 

[Zirat]

"Why do you think? To insure commitment, if we are dead, and he is the only one able to truly bring us back he basicaly forces us to do what he wants. That's why he had us all meet in one place, to make sure he got us all in one fell swoop." he said quietly, with no emotion or inflection in his voice.
