A challenge: What do you like about America?

America has got a lot of good things about it. Or well, it did.

Ok, so Wall of Text actually got it pretty well. Do you live outside of the U.S.? Impressive handle on our politics then.


For me, mainly the small amount of racism.

Ok, so one caveat: I don't know for sure how true it is. I haven't spent enough time overseas. But a bunch of my close friends have. They've spent between a month and a year each in Spain, France, Japan (x2), Taiwan, Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan.. oh, and Canada.

By every account (except Canada of course, you guys're great) we're SO much less racist than most.

Your country is beautiful, your cities (the famous ones (minus LA)) are divine. Your food, whilst unhealthy, has a strong Euro-Germanic deliciousness I cannot describe, you have wonderful weather, fantastic culture (the Deep South particularly), interesting history and enough idiots to make me feel perpetually and infinitly superior (no offence).

Oh, and get this:

You make...fucking...lemonade. I love lemonade. Here in the UK, we only have Fizzy Lemonade. I hate fizzy lemonade, I like it cloudly and natural and flat. We are the only country in the WORLD who dosen't do it properly

And Bagles...god I love your bagles (we don't do them right either)

And WholeFoods, that place is a godsend

Eww, flat lemonade is shitty.

The majority of my liquid intake is flat lemonade, and it's from concentrate or powder. Would that be like hell for you?

Other places have pie too. They just aren't very good at putting proper pie things in them, like apples or cherries; the English prefer weird things like kidneys.

The food, the people are actually very nice mostly, the weather and the sights. That's all I've got right now, Im pretty sure there are many other pleasent things about America. Sorry they are pretty much tourist answers but every time I've been there I noticed these the most.

Sure! I've been to Florida, Miami and a particuarily amazing place called Anna Maria Island which is quite close by the previously mentioned locations.

Uh, Miami is a city in Florida. You don't need to list them separately. Just throwing it out there.

If you want to see more, make sure to check out San Diego (southern California), San Antonio (southern Texas), the Rocky Mountains (especially near Denver, Colorado), YELLOWSTONE National Park in Wyoming, Portland (Maine- the lobsters they serve there make you orgasm with every bite), and if you're into seeing cool museums, Washington D.C. is the place to go.
