SecretWorldLeader, being able to control any Human would make you able to control all non-mutant player characters. It's too powerful. It's denied.
I think the possessing idea would be really neat for super-sneaky scenarios. Maybe the victim has to be within eyesight, alone/subdued, and conscious, otherwise they would fight back or cause a commotion, alerting others to the threat. He could himself be unconscious during control/possession, and exhaustion would set in exponentially over time, and carry over from other possessions and to his own body. Naturally, the rest of the character should be average/weak to compensate for this, meaning that he needs to be guarded/hidden during possession. I just think that this could work out well and make for some interesting scenarios, and I'd hate to see it die.

EDIT: Skype request sent.

Here's my first crack at a character sheet. Let me know if anything needs fixing.

Name: Cedric Molony

Age:32

Gender: Male

Powers: Casts offensive and supportive magic that use Bible scripture as the incantations. He can cast some of his spells quicker (and thus be more mobile) by simply calling to mind the piece of scripture, but the trade off is that strength of the spell is diminished significantly. His strongest spells can only be cast by vocal recitation and require either concentration or extreme emotional duress.

Supportive Spells

Righteous Shield: Cast at will this spell offers quick protection for Cedric from most head on attacks. With concentration and recitation the spell can be used to shield a small group of people for a limited amount of time. This stronger effect can only be used once per encounter.
Incantation: "For thou dost bless the righteous, O Lord; thou dost cover them with favor as with a shield".

Restoring Light: A healing spell that requires recitation and concentration. It speeds up the body's natural healing processes to mend wounds. (Though the worse the damage the longer it takes) In a pinch Cedric can use it to give himself a burst of stamina to briefly go beyond his physical limits. This secondary usage can only be used twice per day.
Incantation: "Restore us, O Lord; let thy face shine, that we may be saved."

Earthly Ensnarement: Hands of stone spring from the ground and hold his enemies in place, or at least cause them to stumble. Reciting the incantation summons a single large hand that grabs an enemy.
Incantation: "When evildoers assail me, they shall stumble and fall."

Sanctuary: His strongest defensive spell which can only be cast by recitation and only used once per day. It can shield an area up to roughly the size of St. Patrick's Cathedral. It lasts until dispelled by Cedric or an attack strong enough breaks it.(I will leave what qualifies as "strong enough" up to the GM) While in place he cannot leave it and his Restoring Light spell heals wounds faster.
Incantation: "You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. For he will deliver you from evil."

Offensive Spells

Heaven's Wrath: Allows him to shoot torrents of flame from his weapon or hands, either in short bursts or a controlled stream. Reciting the incantation summons a firestorm around his enemies. The secondary effect may only be used three times per encounter.
Incantation: "Then the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the heavens."

Plague of hail: Cast by recitation only, it summons a hail storm in a localized area around Cedric. This can only be used once per encounter.
Incantation: "Then Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven; and the lord sent thunder and hail down to the earth."

Flame of Eden: Cast by recitation only. It enchants his weapon with fire, making his strikes more dangerous, and is required to use the secondary effect of Heaven's Wrath. The enchantment fades if he loses the weapon. Only works on melee weapons.
Incantation: "At the east of the garden of Eden he placed the cherubim, and a flaming sword to guard the way."

The Fourth Seal: It's the one spell in his arsenal that scares even him because it is unbridled destruction. He becomes cloaked in the "shadow of death" and summons a whip made of barbed wire caked in blood. His speed increases exponentially, striking the ground with his whip causes geysers of flame to spew forth, cracking it in the air launches lightning strikes, and swinging it horizontally through the air fires piercing shards of ice. Once the spell has run its course though he is unable to cast anymore that day and be so exhausted he will lose consciousness briefly. This spell cannot be used at the same time as Sanctuary.
Incantation: "I beheld a pale horse, and its rider's name was Death."

Equipment: A single short sword at his waist that he carries with him at all times.

Appearance: He stands at 5ft 6in with a thin frame and barest hint of muscle tone. He has dark hair, which he keeps combed to the right, auburn eyes, and a short well kept beard on his chin and lower jaw. His typical attire is the traditional black cassock of the clergy, reinforced with leather armor at the chest, and with a small wooden cross around his neck.

Character Background: Cedric was the pastor of St. Paul's Chapel at Columbia University when the Tesla disaster occurred. In the days that followed the chapel found itself converted into a medical camp and shelter. Cedric did his best to sooth the worries of the faithful but he could offer little explanation for the situation they were in, all he could tell them was that God had not abandoned the city. Though as the city descended into chaos he became less and less sure of that.

The chapel eventually had to be abandoned due to the rioting and Cedric sought out safe haven at St. Patrick's Cathedral. Where he heard the priests of the various faiths in the city were meeting to pool their collective theological knowledge to determine where Tesla had transported them. Cedric arrived to the aftermath of a bloodbath, many people laid dead in and around the cathedral. As he walked with disbelief through the wreckage he came upon a tattered and blood soaked Bible. The text within was nearly illegible due to the blood but he noticed some of the words held a faint glow that made them legible even through gore. Before he could contemplate this, the group of mutants responsible for the bloodshed approached him from all sides. Their leader laughingly gave him a moment to say a final prayer before they killed him. The blood soaked Bible sat open in front of him and he read the glowing words. Not because he thought they would save him but because his mind was blank with shock. Reading them caused a shield of light to encompass him that the mutants could not break through. He tried another glowing passage which scared them off as a hail storm began within the cathedral.

Afterwords he returned to the university and began living in the basement of the library with all manner of books that prior to the disaster he'd have considered blasphemous. He would learn he couldn't cast all of the spells, and that the singular one from Revelations which glowed black was best ignored. Though he's unsure why, he only sees the glowing text in Bibles and that people other than him don't see the glowing text at all.

When the mayor formed his defense force he joined, seeing it as a sign that he was meant to use the new-found holy spells as an instrument of God's justice.

Ignore my earlier post, I found something more fun:

Name:Jonaleath Rayas
Age:39(appears to be closer to 50)
Gender:Male
Powers:The powers of the Raven are his to command, as are the abilities of the Wolf, in effect:
Powers of the Raven:
The ability to bend shadows to his will, they can't attack, but they can hide people and objects inside of them by manipulating how dark them appear.

His shadows can also be used to create in the mind of a victim their worst fear, rendering them at the least unable to fight as effectively. This seriously exhausts him however, and can only be done once per day.

He can transfer a bit of his lifeforce to an ally as many times per day as he can take, healing them completely, with him taking their wounds upon his own body.

Can take on the mantle of the Raven once per year, more or less becoming the lord of death and life. His head becomes that of a Raven,is surrounded by crackling shadows that reach out and grasp his enemies, taking their souls and devouring them, preventing them from going on to the afterlife, forever forced to re-live the agony of their soul being torn from their bodies. His second ability while in the Raven-form is that he exudes a healing aura to his allies, again taking their wounds upon his own body, though he is safe from harm while still the Raven. While in this form, he is cut off from the Wolf side of himself. When he comes out of the transformation, each soul he takes ages him a year, shortening his lifespan, as well as the year taken from him with him assuming the form of the Raven. He is too weak for a week afterwards to do anything beyond sleeping, tormented by the souls he takes, though somehow taken care of by them as well, nothing is able to harm him without first severing his connection to the spirit world.(I'll leave the GM up to decide what constitutes a disconnection)

Powers of the Wolf:

Greatly increased sense of smell, sound, and sight, he can track creatures of the Ooze easily, and through a combination of the three, determine a mutation has occurred in someone.

Can Shapeshift into the form of the Wolf multiple times per day, the only drawback being that he loses the abilities of the Raven, as he devotes himself completely to the Wolf. In his changed form, he is a wolf the size of a small bear, able to leap long distances, run faster and longer than any car made in the world before the shift, greatly increased strength(not enough to move cars, break windows, etc. but more than enough to break bones in his jaws, tear flesh and muscle from bones with his claws, etc.), and a mindset to never give in or give up, meaning he will not retreat, run from a fight, unless his 'pack' is safe.

Equipment:A traditional bow and arrow, painted with the symbols of life, death, honor, and family, an heirloom knife, 8 in. long, the bone handle carved with images of the spirit world. Using anything other than these weapons cuts off his connection to the spirit world, and unable to use his powers.

Appearance:5'10",160lbs. not muscle bound, more of a runner's and acrobat's build, sinewy, many scars criscross his body, silver hairs have begun to creep into his black mane from the one time he was forced to use the full power of the Raven. He wears a shaman's vest, filled with herbs, spices, and the things he needs to make quick poultices.

Character Background:Jon is the last shaman of his tribe, raised by the previous and named his successor, unfortunately, his tribe sold their land to the state of New York before his time to ascend came. He was forced to move to the city to live, and was there, practicing his people's way of life until the shift. He views the shift as a second chance for his people, and will not squander it by fighting the men who took his land, instead, he opts to help Hearst and his Defense Force, hoping that their land will be given back to them, so that they may start anew in this new land. His strong connection to both the Raven, the lord of death and life, and the Wolf, lord of the hunt and family, and his belief in them gave him the gifts of both, though they still vie for his complete and utter devotion, hence his ability to become either, but with the other cut off. He has assumed the Mantle of the Raven once, when the group he was guiding was ambushed by a Destroyer with the ability to mask his trail, he first tried to simply heal them, allowing them time to get out, but it was for naught. He assumed the Mantle and took his enemies souls and healed his allies, bringing one of them back from death's door, and destroyed the Destroyers, he was in a coma-like state for the following week and made it back with his group to the city. He still guides groups, but is unsure of his abilities ever since the event.

Well, here's mine
Name: Gregory Carson

Age: 39

Gender: Male

Powers: None, He is a technician, not a magician

Equipment: Revolver, capable of firing both conventional rounds, and the variety of types of ammunition developed post shift, although these are much harder to come by
Portable electrical Generator, this is both fairly large, and heavy, but it provides all the power that he needs
A set of 3 Tesla Coils, each about 2 feet tall and 8 inches wide that can be configured to shock anything coming between them, effective for maintaining order in the event of riots
Box of parts, all sorts of explosives, wires, and mechanical components, for whatever task needs to be accomplished
Access to the CDF storeroom of weapons and equipment
Batteries
One large backpack

Appearance: 5'11", he weighs 160 pounds, being lean, while not exceptionally skinny. Brown hair, fairly short, and 5 o'clock shadow. He also has the impression of not sleeping enough. He usually wears a pair of jeans and a grey t-shirt, both usually stained with dirt, oil and grime. He also has a pair of thick leather gloves, and a jacket with many pockets

Background: Born in the State of Washington, he grew up in Seattle, and though his family wasn't particularly prosperous, they got by. When the U.S. entered the First World War, he enlisted, and although he never saw any real combat, he spent time as a mechanic, working on the tanks, trucks and all the other vehicles before they moved on to the front. After the end of the war, he used his skills as a mechanic to provide for himself, but like so many others, lost his job in the depression, and spent most of his time wandering around, looking for a job. In 1933, he was in New York, trying to get a job on the docks.
After the shift, he claimed to be a mechanical engineer, and due to the unfamiliar settings, no one caught on, and he was able to learn enough about the new world to pull it off. Since then, he has been working for the City Defense Force, enforcing and creating order

Edited for rational and balance

Here we go!
Name: Abraham "Abe" Solomon

Age: 26

Gender: Male

Powers: Enhanced Speed and Endurance, a mild form of Regeneration. Cannon Hands ? Due to the tremendous speed of his strikes, he can sometimes surpass the speed of sound and create a sonic boom. He can strike very quickly and harshly, but he is vulnerable when he goes on the defensive.

Equipment: He wears a golden necklace with a star of David at the end of it. His hands area almost always wrapped with red boxing tape, an invention Tesla had managed to scrap together to counter the devastating effects of Abes' sonic boom.

Appearance: Abe is 5'3, small and light, skinny and pale. He's bald with no other facial hair. He wears a fedora hat, a tailored suit and a tie along with custom made trousers. His leather shoes stand out in his overall appearance, but they make up for being useful when he needs to deal with rude gentlemen in the street.

Character Background: Abraham was born to a religious family in Brooklyn, New York. His parents emigrated from Germany and thought they could lead their lives in America without fearing persecution.

When he was seven he went to a religious school where he would be taught about Judaism. When he grew older, around the age of ten, the local children began to harass him for walking in strange clothes. It lasted for the next seven months and ended in a climax, where he was stripped of his clothes, beaten and left outside tied to a pole in the winter.

When he was no longer ill his parents enlisted him in a secular school where the same children that beat him studied. He went on and trained in boxing to defend himself and when he was fourteen he managed to fend off any that wanted to fight him. He would help his father in his shop and train in the local boxing club till it happened.

Local thugs came to collect the debt his father didn't owe them. He fought back. Needless to say, he suffered for it. When he was in the hospital, Abe tended the shop. The next time the thugs came into the shop and asked for a debt he didn't owe them, they were the ones that suffered. He, alongside other Jewish shop owners started their own coalition to protect their property from thugs and gangsters.

When Abe grew older, he wanted to study in the university and become a lawyer. He would protect people like he did in his neighborhood. He was refused. Since he was the head of the Jewish coalition he did not manage to complete his studies in his school. Pursuing what he thought was denied from him, he joined a Jewish gang that controlled most of Brooklyn and the lower east side.

He became a high ranking soldier, looking out for a crew of six of his friends and going on missions to protect the business of his new Congregation. After the event he continued to protect his community alongside his family and friends but found it more difficult as anti-seminital sentiments grew in the local populace. He agreed to enter negotiations with the mayor for the protection of the citys' Jewish community and in the process became an enforcer and a representative of the community in the city management.
Uh...discrimination against Jews was pretty wide spread in Europe, but actually kind of rare in America. Aside from a handful of crazies like Ford, and the 2nd Ku Klux Klan, who hated everyone other than themselves, discrimination against Jews was pretty rare in the U.S. Of course, discrimination against Blacks, Asians, and Latinos/Hispanics was *very* common, but discrimination against Jews was rare. Discrimination against the Irish was more common. Anti-Semitism has always been rarer in the U.S. than in Europe.

This largely has to due with the different perspectives on Jews of Protestants and the Catholic Church- The Catholic Church has often claimed that Jews are responsible for the death of Jesus, whereas Protestants generally believe that all of humanity is responsible for his death through our sins. Europe, being mostly Catholic, has a long history of discriminating against Jews that America, being mostly Protestant, does not have. Discrimination against Blacks, Asians, Latinos/Hispanics and Native Americans on the other hand, was largely based on Phrenology and the "Manifest Destiny" Concept- the idea that white people- not just Anglo-Saxons, but white people in general were mentally and morally superior and meant to lead the world.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_antisemitism_in_the_United_States

EDIT: Never mind, I re-read the article and remembered that the discrimination increased suddenly in the 1930's for a short time. I forgot about that, my bad, you are right.

Did you really dedicate ten-twenty minutes of your life to educate me on the matter?
I wrote what I did. There was discrimination. Boys be boys, and Abe was picked on for walking around in strange clothes and not cutting his wigs.
You had some nazi supporters in the mid 1930s, but it's after this period. Nevertheless, what the hell does this has to do with my character? Do you want me to re-write it because it doesn't fit the history? Do you want me to make him Protestant? Do you want me to piss off?
.
It wasn't organized hatred towards the Jews. It were simple shop owners that banded together against Organized Crime and not antisemitism. The thing that banded them together was their religion, that's all. The Jewish Mafia existed and was rather successful. They in fact had a deal with the mayor when nazi-supporting rallies started popping up in NYC, so they could beat the crap out of the nazies as long as nobody dies and the police looks away.
I'm sorry but this post ticked me off for some reason, maybe because I did my research on this character for a long while.

Actually, I recently remembered that Anti-Semitism increased suddenly during the 1920's-30's.During this period in America's history, Anti-Semitism was something that actually happened on a large scale. So I apologize, even if it was based on discrimination, it would be plausible. I think your character history is perfect actually, and I also think his powers are well designed- Speedsters are an excellent concept.

Also, I just have an OCD tendency to point out historical innaccuracies, sorry.

His speed increases exponentially, striking the ground with his whip causes geysers of flame to spew forth, cracking it in the air launches lightning strikes, and from his free hand he is able to fire piercing shards of ice.

*High Five*

Yeah, you really need to be in on this. Message to GM, pick this guy, please!

Love it. The whole take on the matter from a religious stand point is quite well thought out. I never would have though to take it that way. May the lord bless this profile with his holy light. I just imagine ever post opening with...."In the year of our lord 1930, something ungodly swept across the great city of New York. A portal, opened by Beelzebub himself, unleashed a new kind of horror upon the city. An unholy horror that cursed many of the lords chosen. I was cursed with this sin as well. Yet with this sin, I shall do the work of the saints."

Hmm ... Alternate history, 1930, Tesla-tech RP in which we play Super Heroes who will eventually fight incomprehensible Eldritch beings in a world without physics.

... I'm excited. I'm gonna throw a weird one your way. I think he'll fit. Let me know.

Name: (Real) Cyril Novyetkof, (American) Kyle Novy, (Goes By) Novy

Age: 36

Gender: Male

Powers: If Novy can make himself see something that isn?t there, it will be there. Envisioning objects takes a period of undisturbed focus that can vary in length depending on the complexity, intricacy and size of the object being envisioned. I would ask for the GM?s opinion but ideally I?d want the creation of simple things (walls in combat or props to fight with) to be a one or two move endeavor at best, used somewhere in the vicinity of twice an encounter. The creation of much bigger things would of course take longer. A bridge might be an hour or so depending on complexity. A turret sized ray gun might take a day. If he?s interrupted before completion of the envisioning he loses all progress and has to start from the beginning. He?s currently limited by his own imagination and the laws of physics. As the game progresses his boundaries might as well.

Equipment: Novy?s most reliable equipment would be Eisenhower. See separate character sheet for Eisenhower. In addition to this though, he carries as his primary weapon a reinforced gold-plated hook about the length of his forearm. He has a silver locket around his neck with the picture of a remarkably cold but attractive black-haired woman with a short face and sharp features. He cut this picture out of a fashion magazine. He doesn?t read English well enough to know who she is. Her picture will probably be replaced next month. He carries a simple revolver, but doesn?t know how to fire it accurately. He greatly dislikes that it isn?t mounted on something. All projectile weapons should be mounted.

Appearance: Novy is clean shaven, long haired and staring at you. His brow is usually furrowed, and his crystal blue eyes are very intensely concerned with something that appears to exist in the empty space between you and him. His posture is somewhere between military and aristocrat, his back is always strictly straight and his shoulders are held in the ready, but his head juts forward and (if he?s not absorbed with focusing on something that isn?t there) he?s always rocking or swaying just lightly. His hair is blond with brown affections and is kept at roughly shoulder length in fairly good condition. Novy is thirty six and already shows signs of wear, but these are hard to notice beneath his blocky muscular frame. At 5?9 and 195 pounds Novy impresses people as, not athletic precisely, but certainly well defined and difficult to push over. He has a long forehead to compliment a long face that always seems partially confused or deeply in thought. He wears a navy blue peacoat with a set of tails, a pair of pinstriped blue dress pants and a white undershirt.

Character Background: Born Cyril Novyetkof to his father Grigori and his mother Anastasia at the turn of the 1900?s, Cyril was always a highly motivated man. From a very young age straight through adulthood those who came to enjoy his company would always find that he could not stand inaction. Whether it was motivated by impatience, distraction, psychological turmoil, or perhaps genuinely by a ferocious appetite for new knowledge and experience could never be concluded with surety, but all those who came to know him would agree, he never lacked for new experiences in his life. At a young age his father divorced from his mother and emigrated to America, where young Cyril Novyetkof first took up the name Novy after spitefully accepting that the English rendition of his name was unfortunately Kyle. Years later he moved to France to be with his mother and her new husband. Later, upon reaching adulthood, he toured with the French Foreign Legion on naval escorts in the Philippians. He would later defect and live for a short time in India.

In his late twenties Novy could have been found in Panama speaking nightly with the American base camp leader for the area, a mister Eisenhower. The two had grown to be close friends in the three months since Novy had crashed in Central America, bonding on such issues as the purpose of modern artillery, the future of the Balkans and the genius of Slavic-come-American inventor Nikola Tesla. In his mid-thirties Novy could be found at the front of the much diminished crowd in New York City come to see Tesla reveal the invention that would restore his reputation as the world?s greatest inventor. Having re-encountered Eisenhower in the midst of on-lookers after years of absence had lightened his constitution as the device began to whir. And when all hell broke loose, Novy could be found excitedly herding the crowd away from danger with Mr. Eisenhower directing the counter-offensive.

It was a good two months that followed. Novy and Eisenhower became integral to the defense of the city from extra dimensional invaders of all character. And then Eisenhower became a spider. The pair still cooperate to maintain order in the city but somehow the dynamic is just not how it used to be. Novy finds himself listless, spending unremembered hours staring at the black goo that cages the city. What was supposed to be a two week stay over in his father?s country has become an indefinite imprisonment in the same 200 mile diameter circle. Novy is highly devoted, but his wanderlust and need for new stimuli is eating away at him. He has started adding new stories to the buildings on mainstreet, and though it sates him it doesn?t satisfy. Eisenhower seems to worry. But the pair have never stopped being effective.

Name: Dwight D. Eisenhower?

Age: 38?

Gender: Male?

Powers: It?s unclear what powers are possessed by this spider or if it is actually Dwight D. Eisenhower. What is known is that ?Eisenhower? treats Novy cordially, cooperates with the city defense force, and seems to comprehend spoken directions. Eisenhower is a spider roughly the size of a double bed. Sheets of a strange material are naturally suspended between each of its four legs on each side creating long thin curtains of a sort that run connecting each of Eisenhower?s joints on adjacent legs. Eisenhower regularly uses these to capture and manipulate airflow, allowing him to take off in flight by rapidly fluttering his legs in a wave on each side. He has demonstrated the ability to hold a passenger while doing this. That passenger is almost always Novy. Apart from this ability, he has also demonstrated things common to spiders. Good grip on walls, strong sense of smell, the ability to produce web. It?s unclear whether his species is venomous. He has killed people by biting them before, but he will typically liquefy and drain the mutants he kills quickly, whether directed by the City Defense Force to desist or not. On a slightly more unnerving note, Novy swears when Eisenhower first changed he was a spider roughly the size of a radiator. And recently those on the City Defense Force have begun to notice that Eisenhower seems larger than when he was first introduced. Its possible drinking the mutated is causing him to grow?

Equipment: Lack of opposable thumbs severely limits Eisenhower?s use of equipment. That said a fairly sophisticated pair of pointed brass sleeves have been furnished and equipped to his fangs, to ease penetration. He has also willingly accepted a thin armor composed of highly compressed layers of cloth, but only on his underbelly and abdomen. The armor may take a couple bullets painfully but it isn?t designed to hold up to a serious assault as much as to protect against accidents.

Appearance: Eisenhower is a pale white spider the size of a bed in a strange tight coat of black cloth with polished brass fangs. The material that hangs between his long powerful legs is red and not thoroughly opaque but smooth like silk.

Character Background: About three months into the counter offensive to regain the city, Novy arrived at the scene of an emergency perched at the nape of the abdomen of a giant spider instead of with his friend and ally Eisenhower. When questioned, he said that Eisenhower had transformed into a spider late yesterday evening but that his mind was sound and he still wished to be useful. Before further questions could be posed, the pair flew toward the fight. Eisenhower, the spider, has remained useful and cooperative on the majority of issues proposed since that day and no one has seen Eisenhower, the man, since.

Here's my sheet for now, I'll work on his background later.

Name: Murphy Kingston
Age:38
Gender: Male
Powers:
Corpse Control- By long/or short range manipulation of the central nervous system, Murphy can control the corpses of the deceased. So long as two conditions are met; first when he establishes the initial link he must be able to see or feel the target, second the target still has a brain or Murphy makes and holds physical contact with it. Once Murphy has control he has two options, control it directly or simply direct its instincts. The first options has Murphy commanding almost every action the corpse does, the second means he taps into the residual reflexes still left in the nerves. Direct control is much more precise though it is taxing and limited, instinct manipulation allows him to control more, though with much less precision. What a corpse can do is limited to its physical status, because its cerebral cortex is fried by the domination, its knowledge and skill is lost, but it's strength and power lives on.

Flesh Craft- Murphy can flence flesh and shape bone, then bind them together to make abominations of meat. He can only work with materials from the deceased. Any manipulation must be done manually, but he can then fuze the materials together to make one piece. To be controlled at a distance they must still be connected to a brain. And a brain/a body has a limit to what can be changed about it, even in death.

Death Sense- Murphy can sense someone's vitality, not as visual or auditory phenomena, but instead as a gut instinct. It is a simple fact, almost everyone will die, and Murphy can't help but pick out the ones who won't be around for much longer.

Equipment:
One Luger, with shoulder holsters.
One large butchers knife, with a sheath.
Bag of surgical equipement, medicinal supplies, and embalming fluid.
3 1/10 Oz vials of Psilocybin, kept in a silver case.
Clean bandages and surgical masks.
Two smoke grenades.
One pair of binoculars.
A trench shovel and a gardening spade.
His CDF badge

Appearance:

Murphy Kingston is five feet 10 inches. He certainly is not very muscular, but his hands and arms are practiced and finely tuned. What he lacks in power of presence, he makes up for with his keen interested green eyes. His hair is reddish brown, darker on the sides and parted to the left, Murphy keeps his face clean shaven and smooth when he can, but after only a few skipped shaves, a reddish stubble appears. His eye browns are simply dark brown, and sleek. His chin is rather sharp, and gives his face a triangular appearance. His skin is pale, even compared to most people who live in the pale green light. Generally he prefers to appear professional on duty. For him this means gray felt hat with a red silk band, and a gray three button suit with black pinstripes. He also wears a white shirt with a red tie and red leather gloves. Under the left side of his jacket he keeps his gun, on the right his badge and extra magazines. The rest of his equipement is kept in a white suit-case, with the CDF logo pressed into the leather. His butches knife and mask only come out when he has to work with bodies, in that case, the rest at his right hip and around his neck respectively.

You can tell simply by looking at Murphy that he is not well. He constantly flinches from light, and constantly worries about migraines. His eyes are heavily lidded, due to intense dreams and poor sleep.

What the -fuck-, Khedive. I thought Kingston was the only one taking peyote. That said, I think I can guarantee you a slot. This will be very, very interesting.

Alright, I'm probably going to start this RP on the 1st. (Mah birthday) Anyone still wanting to join, drop your sheets in the bin and I'll examine them.

Oh dang, here's my sheet for what it's worth.

Name: Robert Sinclair
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Powers: Psychogeography: At Will-Sinclair?s crystalline arm links to his surroundings, giving him a detailed history of the area, its inhabitants, and any significant events relating to it.
Reconstruction: 5 times per encounter- The crystal structure of Sinclair?s body rebuilds any damage he has sustained.
Shard: 5 times a day- A razor thin slice of Sinclair?s body slides off and flies towards a target, usually killing them instantly.
History: 1 time a day- (Can only be used after Psychogeography) Accessing the history of the location Sinclair chooses one point in time and summons it to the present, has different effects depending on what he decides to bring through. Requires long recharge times due to his body briefly becoming a portal.
(Additional: Sinclair?s strength is above average, and his ability to reach into the past allows him to dig up dirt on people no one else would be able to find, making him exceptional at weeding out moles and extracting confessions.)
Equipment: An old revolver, mostly for decorative and intimidation purposes rather than actual combat.
Appearance: Tall, thin, his cells have mutated into a crystal structure that can interface with anything, his face was long and hard before the event and his new form has only accentuated this. He covers the body he?s ashamed of with suits and gloves, leaving only his face exposed, with a hat on top of that to replace his hair. His slender hands seem better suited to life as crystals than they did as flesh, and somehow he has lost none of the delicate deliberation of his movements. It is unclear exactly how he still moves, but he has more grace and poise than many flesh and blood humans.
Character Background: Raised in an intensely upper class family Sinclair had the importance of etiquette drilled into him from birth, and acts like a gentleman from a fantasy. However he became bored of the seemingly endless dullity that awaited him upon finishing his education, and became a private detective because it would give him an excuse to venture into the murkiest depths of the city while still retaining the moral high ground. His customers frequently dragged him into gang wars as a bodyguard, hired muscle or bullet sponge, although he always sided with the victors, claiming to have been forced into it if they were not the ones who hired him. When the event happened he was acting as a bodyguard to a university professor conducting some experiments in a lab he was banned from. The event shook the room, covering Sinclair and his employer with strange liquids, before he was knocked unconscious by a weighty book he saw the professor screaming and clawing at his own face. Upon waking Sinclair discovered he could not breathe. Tearing open his shirt he discovered a glittering crystal array, which was quickly spreading across his body; scrambling towards the door he saw visions of everything that happened in this room as his new skin came into contact with it?s surfaces. Soon after his return to the streets he learned what was happening and, realising who would win, sided with Hearst and his enforcers to protect his own skin. Not that that was really necessary. In his first encounter with an uncooperative group of mutants he was riddled with bullets, screaming with anger he flung shard of himself at them, decapitating his attackers. Since then he has trained and gained more control over his new form.

Gender: Male
Powers: The ability to teleport through any liquid to another source of the same liquid in a 3km radius. Charlie also has the ability to liquify himself, but only when critically wounded and to heal himself
Equipment: Harmful chemical resistant boots and gloves. He has spares in case they are destroyed
Appearance: 5'9, muscular, slim, wavy brown hair, broad jaw, blue eyes, handsome features. Stands like an ex-soldier, demanding presence.
Personality: although lighthearted and humorous, Charlie is a man who has significant enough presence to make him stand out from a crowd, and a person who you wouldn't want to make enemies of.
Character Background: Born in Trenton, NJ, at the age of 2, Charlie and family moved to London as his father was transferred to the British branch of the company he worked for. Charlie's NJ accent stayed with him. Charlie spent most of his youth in the London area, learning the tools of mechanics, a new industry that sprung up with the industrial revolution. Whilst on leave of duty, he encountered the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. Her name was Felicia, and at the age of 25 , he resigned from the armed forces in order to make and support a family with her. Life was good, and Felicia gave him a son and a daughter, Will and Lily. Everything was settling in as normal when it happened. He developed unusal powers, whcih he couldn't explain. Desperate, he vowed to stay apart from his family till he found the truth.

Give me a poke if there's anything you'd like me to change.
