There are so many racal sterotyping and country bashing that I thought it would be a nice change to write something nice for a change.

So heres my challange. Write 1 thing you think is good about the poster above you's country, then write 1 thing you think is good about your own country.

this is not about whos country is better but just about saying something nice. You only get to say 1 thing about the above poster and 1 thing about yours. If you can't think of anything then wikipedia the country and learn something. Double ups are fine.

I'll start with America since I see so much USA hater posts.

America: I like the freedom America offers it's citizens.

Now about my country: Australia: I like the Medicare system we have which provides basic medical to everyone regardless of age, sex, or race.

Your turn. =D

Canada: I enjoy the natural contrast to the US, particularly the way our health care programs run.

Britain: I enjoy (some of) the natural beauty. And (most) of the people arent too bad I suppose.

My Country (the US): I enjoy the freedoms I'm allowed, and the diversity. For better or worse, I just cant really imagine living some where else. Plus the natural beauty of the land and history it seems is in almost every step (at least in my area), makes the country great for an amateur history buff.

EDIT: America. Home of the free, and the tasty fast food. Beats Canada by miles, unfortunately.
Canada. Baby, we have Classified.

Canada: Free health care. Awesome.

(My country) USA: It's really big. If there's something you don't like in one place, you can try to find a place without it. Even if it's people you don't like, there's still a place for you.

Canada: It's like a more laid-back version of America, with awesome comedians. Toronto is a nice city, too.

For my country, I'll say something good about both America and Japan.

America: Levels of freedom, technology, and diversity that many people take for granted, that may or may not be found in other countries. Plus, the diversity that all melds together into a very unique and awesome culture. And once you leave the big cities, it is actually quite safe and peaceful, and the people are quite friendly for the most part.

Japan: The combination of its own unique culture and adopted and adapted outside influences make for an enlightening experience being here. I also enjoy the polite and friendly people here. But probably the one thing I most enjoy is that it is a very modern and developed country that has not let go of its traditions and roots. I greatly respect that, even if it can, on rare occasions, lead to some issues arising.

Japan - It's amazing how selfless everyone is in Japan. When that earthquake hit a couple months ago, there were some really great stories about heroic acts taking place over there. About how firefighters and engineers were sacrificing themselves to save people they never knew. And how the entire nation stuck together instead of fractioning.

The United States can take a clue from them. I remember when Katrina hit you would watch on the news down south of people looting and killing eachother. The Japanese could've done the same, but they didn't.

My country - USA: There is a lot of things wrong with us. But we're picked on because we are considered the top nation, I suppose. And everyone has to berrate the top dog. I love the freedom, though, the technology, and the strive that we have. Most of everyone is very friendly to eachother, I believe.

Also, the patriotism. It may get annoying to other countries, but it's awesome. How this country banded together back when the towers fell, it was really touching. I only wish I was older so I understood truly how we banded together. For all I see is more division then being united.

Ireland....The river Shannon right now is cool and crisp, perfect for a nice swim. The air has a slight musk in it that means theres something over the horizon begging to be explored. The land is green, the hills are high, and today... I found my first four leaf clover.

The US...the most varied country there is...for both people and landscape.

Britain: LOVE the accents. most of them make you sound smart. And the others make you sound cool.

US. (Mine) the ideals (freedom for all and stuff) that make us. We don't always follow then but they are still good ideas.

USA: No matter what most people think, audacity is a virtue in my book. And if there's anything you can say about America, it that we have the audacity to do what others think is quite ridiculous. From a political, engineering, or social perspective.

100,000 ton plus machines? We got that.

Hello, world leaders, look at your country, then look at America, now back to your country, now back to me. Sadly, your country isn't America, but if you started frying all your food and produced awesome movies, your country could be like America. Look down, now back up, where are you? Your on a boat with this guy:
Whats in your hand, look at America, he has it, its two nukes. Look again, the nukes are now WORLD PEACE. Anything is possble when your country embraces democracy. I'm on an aircraft carrier.
That's what I'm talking 'bout!
