Mike Lindell's "cyber symposium" (no way he come up with that name himself) stream is happening, just about. Buckle up peeps for a 72 hour methamphetamine-fueled gish gallop circus!

It's gotten to the point where there is so obviously something wrong with Mike Lindell that I actually feel bad for making fun of him, like I'm punching down.

Yeah I get those thoughts usually too, but they are quickly trumped by the thoughts of his negative, damaging influence on many many other people who do not have the same resources to deal with consequences of indulging in the worst of conspiracy theories as he does. Plus surrounding themself with enabling predatory conmen to bolster their fervant desires as they do so.

But also, it's more of a deep concern for me than anything close to entertainment. I just compulsively try to find a way of taking the edge off when talking about anything at all really. The fact there isn't particularly any humour one can draw from him that he doesn't just obliviously create himself is a small silver lining within this despairing mess of corruption.

Any word yet on if anyone has taken him up on that $5 million dollar bet he rigged from the start?

I can see that point, though I have a somewhat different perspective.
Anyone (excluding those who by minority or mental defect do not possess the ability to make sound decisions) who publicly asserts things to be true is open to being criticized for the things they claim. If someone voluntarily makes themselves a public figure in a debate on a topic (and I'm using the term "public figure" in the general and not specific legal sense), and then proceeds to behave bafoonishly, they basically become fair game all across the board.
Least that's how I see it.

Mike Lindell update (large influencer in election denial/Trump reinstatement conspiracy ecosystems);

"He says that there will be “70 cyber guys” at the three day event...."

What the hell are "cyber guys"? Is that anything like "computer experts" or "network engineers"?

Absolutely, Democrats commit fraud as well.
Proof? Or is this just "well, they must do it too because they're just as bad"?

If one has any familiarity with American politicians at all, one should not even need to ask for proof of the statement "they commit [CRIME] too!"

It should be a given that every party has committed at least one of every crime possible. In fact, you should just assume that every individual politician is guilty of something.

I'm not interested in any "a pox on both their houses" pabulum. Republicans tried to overthrow the government and install their candidate as leader of the country. Any "well, Democrats commit crimes too!" attempts to equivocate are either disingenuous or delusional.

Except his instability is being outsourced to the world, and causing catastrophic harm to the rest of the country/world. So I have less sympathy for him.

All fair points and true assessments. I just have that voice in my head screaming at people like Lindell, "GET HELP!!!"

Judge overturns local Democratic Primary in Mississippi from problematic absentee ballots
Philadelphia Election judge admits to stuffing ballots for Democrats
New Jersey Democrats indicted on felony voter fraud

That's just a few recent prominent ones. The further you go in history, the bigger the mess becomes.

Got any insurrections up your sleaves?
If you go back far enough, there was that time conservative white supremacists overthrew a local government in North Carolina
It was only ~120 years ago, though it was bragged about for 50 years, then quietly covered up for 65 years.

Grab a comfy chair, cuz those conservative white supremacists were Democrats. Won't be long before someone comes to gotcha you since that proves ... something.

Oh, I'm well aware. I'm interested in them trying to square Republicans being the radical liberals

Probably best example is from 1983.
Far-left group actually bombed the Senate. I'd normally wouldn't tie communists to Democrats, but on his last day in office, Bill Clinton pardoned Susan Rosenburg (likely just as cover so people would talk about that instead of him pardoning his brother for drug trafficking on the same day). I can imagine what you all would say if a Republican president on their final day in office pardoned those arrested from January 6th.

If you want something more recent and still comparable:
Protestors stormed the supreme court when Kavanaugh was confirmed. Police needed to intervene, and many people were arrested.
Oh, I'm well aware. I'm interested in them trying to square Republicans being the radical liberals
The Republican Party has never been radical liberals. The Democratic Party has moved dramatically over the course of its existence, and yes used to be very conservative in general, but the Republican Party has never, ever been what the Democrats are now. The only aspects of liberalism to be found within Republicanism are those enshrined within the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution around which the American Republic is formed, and none of those ideas were particularly radical by the time the Republican Party came into existence.
