Well, Rob Dougan made Furious Angels in 1998-2001, most of the tracks used in the Matrix Trilogy composed independently well before production. So, while the feel of the track definite fits the fights (Neo vs Myriad Smith notwithstanding) the rhythm matches at times, but is largely coincidental (helped along by good editing).DioWallachia said:Keep in mind that i need to know at LEAST if the made the music FIRST and then the fight choreography based on it. I think that its only possible if someone happens to know a director commentary that just happens to reveal that an escene was made as such.
Apart from missing an 's' at the end, where's the error?GenericAmerican said:Strange, no one has pointed out the spelling error in the title yet.
It's been fixed, it was a horrendous misspelling of synchronize.SckizoBoy said:Apart from missing an 's' at the end, where's the error?GenericAmerican said:Strange, no one has pointed out the spelling error in the title yet.
Well, good editing CAN be a way to time the hits with the music.............but what happens if the director tries a LONG TAKE? I know this example i am going to put ISNT exactly something that combines music and fight like i said earlier, but just to think the possibilities makes water come out of my mouth..SckizoBoy said:Well, Rob Dougan made Furious Angels in 1998-2001, most of the tracks used in the Matrix Trilogy composed independently well before production. The tony example didnt work but the Sherlock one it seems that it has been edited to match up, its ok but most of the examples (the good ones) are mostly fights done with clever editing rather than one long take (like the Chaplin one) or fluent animation (like the Tom and Jerry)IamQ said:snip
I'm sorry to say, but I think you're simply asking for too much nowadays.DioWallachia said:The tony example didnt work but the Sherlock one it seems that it has been edited to match up, its ok but most of the examples (the good ones) are mostly fights done with clever editing rather than one long take (like the Chaplin one) or fluent animation (like the Tom and Jerry)IamQ said:snip
I am just asking to see if the world of entertaiment actually managed to push at least SOME boundaries.IamQ said:I'm sorry to say, but I think you're simply asking for too much nowadays.DioWallachia said:The tony example didnt work but the Sherlock one it seems that it has been edited to match up, its ok but most of the examples (the good ones) are mostly fights done with clever editing rather than one long take (like the Chaplin one) or fluent animation (like the Tom and Jerry)IamQ said:snip
Oh? You've got an animaion on the shelf? Be sure to show it to us when it's done. Since you're a fan of this synchronized fighting jazz, maybe yours will truly show that, no?DioWallachia said:I am just asking to see if the world of entertaiment actually managed to push at least SOME boundaries.IamQ said:I'm sorry to say, but I think you're simply asking for too much nowadays.DioWallachia said:The tony example didnt work but the Sherlock one it seems that it has been edited to match up, its ok but most of the examples (the good ones) are mostly fights done with clever editing rather than one long take (like the Chaplin one) or fluent animation (like the Tom and Jerry)IamQ said:snip

Looking back at old cartoons, it's interesting how big of dicks the protagonists can be sometimes.DoPo said:Sure, here you go.
A true fight with music.
Other than that, I can't think of any, but I would assume Jackie Chan would have some in his movies.
