*Salutes* You are a man of brilliance. I too am a young gamer, if I did the math right then I'm a year younger than you and Halo is what got me on to FPS games. The only other FPS I had ever played was Duke Nukem 3D.
I have Legendary Edition waiting for me (EbGames sold out Australia-wide so I had to preorder it at an electronics store, which I don't believe has a midnight launch) and I'll pick it up on the 14th even if I have to walk.
I loved every single Halo game (including Halo Wars and ODST so get over it fanboys), the first one I played through with my sister after convincing her to help me get past a particularly hard part. I played alone through every other game up until Halo Reach when my friend who is more of a brother came over for about a week because he lives so far away, he came over during the week ODST came out and I went to the midnight launch and we beat it the next/same day depending on how you look at it.
I have made an agreement with my friend saying that the moment we both have Reach (because he might not get it on the 14th) we will jump on Campaign and play through it on Legendary for a marathon gaming session. He's asked me to stay away from the campaign until we both have it and I'll try but I don't know if I can, I always finish the campaign before doing matchmaking but I don't think it counts seeing as how I jumped into the beta?
Before I write a novel matching the page number of a Stephen King book I'll finish by saying this: Halo = awesome.
