If i had to un-see anything it would probably be the marble hornets series on youtube. Slender man still creeps me out.
Same. :/
After watching it, I was afraid of the dark for weeks.

AVP Requiem. The previous AVP was just a cheap knockoff of Lovecraft's At the Mountains of Madness, and Requiem sucks even more. It's basically just two hours of helpless victims getting mauled to death, with virtually no plot to speak of. Not worth the time.

If you're a horror fan though, it's well worth your time. It manages to be absolutely terrifying without resorting to excessive gore or jump scares, and is instead very subtle and very creepy. If you don't want to be nervously looking over your shoulder for a week, don't watch it, but if you enjoy a good scare every now and then, do.

Eragon. NEVER SEE THAT MOVIE. Its only redeeming quality is the fact that it has decent special effects. I read the book like 3 times and I had a hard time following what was happening.
I seen the first thirty minutes, and it was the most forgettable movie I had ever seen. I honestly don't watch a lot of movies, but I know a good movie when I see it. The only thing I got out of it was the fact there was a talking Blue Dragon.

...Then I read the book. I was reluctant to read it due to the movie, but I decided to man up and see if it was as bad.

Eragon is now my favourite book of all time. GO NERDS!

If i had to choose a movie though it would have to be Pet Cemetery, that film is just wrong on so many levels
Oh shit....you just made me remember.....Zelda....dear lord...not her...

That movie took a long] time to get started, though. Everything happens in the last half hour.

Also, I love the stranger dude from Resident Evil 4. He's one of my favorite characters.

"Stranger, haha! What do you need that for? Going huntin' an elephant?"

ON TOPIC: Many disturbing films have already been stated already. I've heard that Cannibal Holocaust was pretty fjorkin' bad. It doesn't help that my uncle has the movie and on the cover....well, I don't feel like ruining it. You could ask me...or look it up yourself. FUN!

We here always talk about horrifying and weird movies that have scarred us for life. This thread is to warn people about movies we've seen that we wish we could un-see.
Teeth. DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE! Don't ask about it, don't see it, don't even think about it. You have been warned. What movies do you Escapists want to warn your fellow nerd of?
I loved that movie. It was epic.

Dont see Jennifer's Body. Yes, the concept sounds awesome, but its horrible in practice.

After reading the synopsis of "Teeth" on Wikipedia, it seems more like a comedy than a horror. Every other sentence is "then her vagina bit off his penis." Maybe it's because it's 1 AM here, but I was laughing the whole time I was reading it.

On Topic, I thought The Spirit was the worst movie I'd ever seen. The parts that weren't immensely boring were odd to the point of complete absurdity, and not the kind I could enjoy. There are no words to express my disappointment for this film, especially after the trailers made it look good.
Hahaha! I just read that because of what you said and it's so true! It happens like eight times!

OT: The classics I guess Cabin Fever, Antichrist, Hostel...

i read the wikipedia article on Teeth and oh my god that sounds hilarious. its like every 15 minutes her vagina gets hungry and noms some penis off a guy. it just sounds so random, and everybody is out to rape the main chick whats her face. it sounds so retarded.
Yeah, she must get raped like seven times at least in that movie.

Oh yeah, Martyrs sounds pretty terrible too.

Wasn't there a episode with slender man in Courage the Cowardly Dog? Dont't watch that show, by the way.

Here's a different kind of friendly warning.

It doesn't have to blow your socks off.[If you're cooking with chilli, be careful what you touch afterwards. [http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/mark-hix-use-it-lightly-ndash-it-doesnt-have-to-blow-your-socks-off-2042489.html] Washing your hands doesn't always get rid of it. Men should be especially careful to leave it a while before they go to the toilet.
"Be careful what you touch" indeed. Heavy petting immediately after cooking with fresh hot chillis can be BAD.

Something like Irresistible or Irreversible or something like that. All I know is, it is supposed to have some person being raped then beaten to death with a fire extinguisher. At the same time...
Yeah it's Irreversible, but those are two separate scenes. The fire extinguisher bit happens at the start (or the end, the film is told completely in reverse. I see wat ya did thar.) where the lead guy batters the man he believes to be the rapist to death in a rather fucked up gay bar called The Rectum where a bunch of fat men seem to stand around masturbating to the trippiest music I've ever heard.

The rape scene happens in the middle and is 9 minutes long with 1 camera angle. It's not nice.

Personally I'd like to un-see Hostel. The eye being cut out bit was just horrific, especially as I'm seriously squeamish. Didn't like the guy getting his achilles tendons slashed either.
