Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland, don't become a victim of this somehow popular movie. If you haven't seen it then I wish I was you. In the first 10 minutes of it's so called character development, I really wanted to run out of the cinema while leaving my friends there.
I liked the new Alice film. Was it as good as previous Tim Burton works? No. Was it as good as American McGee's Alice? Hell No.

But it was not a terrible film either.
I'm glad you have an opinion but you cannot tell me that piece of crap isn't a piece of crap. It was by far the worst movie I have watched all year, like I said before, I would left 10 minutes into the film.
I didn't discount your opinion. I merely stated that mine differed to yours. I'm sorry you did not like it.

May I ask what you didn't like about it?

Oh I know there is always going to be someone who disagree's and you don't need to apologies, it's pretty basic these day's when developers/directors only inspiration is to make more money. It was actually worse than I thought it was going to be and I already had low hopes for it.

I didn't imagine Tim Burton could almost forget about a proper character development. Seriously, it had most of the characters from the original (what ever that is) at the beginning welcoming Alice, and then you never see some of them again. It's like he expected us to know everyone.

Alice is extremely annoying constantly saying how she is in a dream, EVEN AFTER GETTING FUCKING WOUNDED!

The dialogue is corny most of the time and there are a lot of scenes that are painfully cliche'.

They brought up some stupid scroll revealing the end of the movie, even though it didn't matter that much since the whole thing bored me.

I bet your going to have a different opinion on this but Depp was just like Jack Sparrow, there was hardly a difference at all. He is becoming like Adam Sandler, relying on the same style and routine. All the characters were uninspiring really, probably the least annoying were all the side characters.

And the thing that makes me jump down most directors throats is that this popcorn flick is a sequal to an original story idea, and this is just extremely generic, the fucker didn't try anything interesting at all. He just made an action flick using childish fantasy characters, what a fucking insult! Obviously Tim Burton doesn't make these remakes for the sake of making a great film, his main inspiration is for a quick buck and he got it the bastard! So I will curse these shitty remakes till I die.

For any fans of Dragonball out there, then I'd strongly suggest you avoid

Dragonball Evolution, not a single thing was done right in that pitiful excuse for a movie.

Also I know it's been said before, but I feel I should give out another warning.

Avoid Salo and the Human Centipede.

August Underground Mordum. I am just going to leave it at that, not many people make it through the movie in one go.
That film failed for one major reason, they were just trying too hard. It wasn't spooky or sinister, it was merely dodgy camerawork and waaay too much swearing to be taken seriously.

Although, as mentioned above, I'm hard to offend. I actually made a list of films that I had to see to try and find my limit......I didn't find my limit!

I actually find poor filmmaking, direction and scripting more disturbing than any amount of gore!
I haven't found the limit either. With August Underground Mordum I didn't actually find it disturbing (the only part that really creeped me out was showing them being normal people) just that everybody I know except the person who told me about it thinks I am some form of psychopath for watching it.

The poor film making makes it seem more plausible so it becomes harder to deny that it is a fictional film.

Can't really disagree with anything you say there.

Except that Depp was not like Jack Sparrow. He was like Jack Sparrow crossed with Sweeney Todd.

Tim Burton has made very little of note recently. He seems to content to let his name make up for any shortcomings he may have, much the same way Clive Barker does. I wasn't expecting anything great out of the film, and because of that I was able to enjoy it. But I can see how it would frustrate others.

You must have that ability to forgive things. I kinda wish I did but I just can't do it. If well known directors can make flaws like this then I must curse their name, same with developers.

What ever you do.... Do not watch Salad Fingers. I know you'll go watch it YouTube now but DON'T.
Sorry dude, but thats a pretty weak thing to say and its not that scary afterall. Watch Salad Fingers. its a good series, along with soilsberry toast boy and a short cartoon about room tiling. BTW don't watch it on youtube, watch it on the creators website fat-pie.com keep the hyphen in there or it'll take you to pronz.

Aside from all the poorly made movies, I can't recommned any movies to stay away from. Nothing really freaks me out that much.
Wow, wow, wow. I never said it was bad.... It just freaked me the hell out. I really enjoyed it but it messed me up for ages. My drug addled brain couldn't handle it at the time and now when I think about it, I get very uneasy.

Aw, but I'm told it features a person named Katsuro! I'm named Katsuro! It would be so cool to see somebody with whom I share a name in a movie!

I would say Tokyo Gore Police because of that horrifying strip club scene... but the movie is so good that I would never want anyone to not see it.

Serbian film. I only saw the trailer and heard about one particular scene and that was enough for me to decide that NO ONE in their right mind should EVER watch that movie. To further illustrate how messed up this movie is here is the description of that awful scene-
A man is forced to perform sex on a pregnant women and then performs the same act on a new born child until it's dead..... and then some.
I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep now.
That movie was FUCKING FUCKED UP. NEVER WATCH IT!! I was SICK watching it, I vomited on my fucking computer desk. A poor excuse to put the most traumatizing and controversial acts all together in 2 hours of pure fuckedupness. The man who made this movie should be executed for crimes against humanity. He is a grade one fucking jerkass and probably gets off on watching babies get raped. Disgusting.

Jesus fucking christ, sorry, just seeing the name of the movie gets me raging.
I know right? I can't believe there are actually people that like this movie. They probably just like it to be different or because they saw symbolism that just isn't there. Even if there was meaning in that film, which I doubt, would it really be worth thinking about after seeing this horrible film?

I say you should NEVER watch this Japanese horror film called Audition. It's not scary, it makes no sense, and it has probably the most disgusting scene I've ever seen in a movie. ... This guy being held captive by a psycho is forced to eat her vomit. Part of why it's so disgusting is that they don't imply any of it. They show her vomiting and they focus way too long on him eating it.
Oh, THAT scene. I thought you meant "deeper, deeper" and the foot, that being what comes up on youtube if you search for Audition.

When I read the plot over on imdb I realised there was no point to the film. From seeing just that scene first, I'd written a whole story in my head about some sleazy bastards getting girls to do really hard porn scenes as auditions for movie roles, pushing them to go "deeper, deeper" and so on, filming it and getting off on it and then ringing the girls up to offer to push them to the front of the queue for parts in return for sex and just using them and never paying a penny, why finally get their arses kicked around by a girl who loses her patience.

In my head, it was a rather gruesome but okay revenge flick ... then I read the synopsis and it was more "mad girl tortures lonely guy for kicks" with no ..... I'll stop there.

Did they mangle it as badly as they did IT and Christine?

Hm. I've read the book "Audition" that the movie is based on, and it was good. I guess I'll stick with it.
