Games I want made:
Mega Man Lgends 3

Games I want translated and released in America:
Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix
Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix +
Mother 3

I play the nostalgia card.
All cards in play are caught up in the past and are considered out of play until this card is destroyed.

I would like to see a third-person action game based on Meet the Feebles. Maybe make it a sandbox.

Or perhaps a game based around the 70s and early 80s NY or UK punk scene. I'd also like to see a game where you play as a neanderthal building a tribe and hunting wildlife with stone tools.

a good zombie survival game that isn't ridiculous (dead rising) or an action game (left 4 dead 2).

Whilst off the top off my head I can't think of any game Id like to see made, I can anwser the question directly, but with a twist.

The question: "A game I want... NOW!"
The anwser: "Assassin's Creed II and Batman: Arkham Asylum. Both are on my Christmas List and I've got to wait less than another 20 days to get my hands on them. Money has been tight, and the fact I haven't got my hands on Arkham yet is a crime, as for Assassin's Creed II, it came out so closely to Christmas, I got the usual: 'Dont go buying any more games before Christmas or you won't have any money for Christmas shopping!' speech. But anywho, from what I've heard, they are most definitely worth waiting for."

I've ALWAYS wanted a stress relief game where you could be a god, with no goals but you own personal goals ex. "Kill 1 million people". Just being a general dick to the people of earth (or be a good god if that's your thing).

I want a stealth game that isn't shit.
MGS games
Splinter Cell games
Theif games
Hitman games
Tenchu Stealth Assassins
Assassins Creed games

I really want Bayonetta, MAG, Bad Company 2, White Knight Chronicles, The Last Guardian, God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5 and Dante's Inferno.
I guess I should have phrased it as in, I want a game that does stealth well. Thief and Hitman kind of achieved this (though not to the extent I wish), possibly splinter cell too, never really played it. Tenchu's "oh, its just a moose sound that killed all my friends via headslices" logic really got to me and the fact that the enemies were just as Deaf as they were stupid. Assassins creed 1 lacked a bit, I love the game all the same, but Stealth was not its selling point. I want a game that does two things, make it a necessity to sneak (what I thought was gonna be great about assassins creed originally was that I thought it was 2, maybe 3 hits and you're outta there, instead I could take on fucking armies using one hand and repetitive motions), and give human like possibilities, not all of them but a few. Hitman was a good example of this. (it didn't do it perfectly, but being able to store guns in baskets and hop along the forest to kill the wolf in disguise was pretty nice, as well as the executions and variations of killing)

Also, gadgets never hurt as MSG teaches us. (though I've never played any of the games fully (not out of dislike for the series, just never have))

Edit: I don't mean to dissapoint you (luckily I'm sure you won't, and shouldn't, take my word for it) but MAG thus far sucks. Currently in the NZ/AUS beta (I think Aussy's in it too) on the PS3 and so far I'm much happier with my PURCHASE (note that I'm a frugal mof**ker and me liking a game that costs over something free is amazing) of Battlefield 1943. Its still beta of course though so here's hoping the game shapes up, but for now it hasn't captivated me enough to play for longer then 8 minutes. (perhaps therein lies my problem with it)

I would love a game about a zombie apocalypse, where killing zombies all the time isn`t the main idea (Not like L4D), but where you would have to scavenge house to house and build up your own hidespot.
You would rarely find a weapon during your raids and fight would be avoid if possible or that would depend on your playing style mainly.
You would have to eat so keeping a food supply would be very important sleep.
I agree. I would also like it to be set in a sandbox city/world where you can actually enter all the buildings and clear them out. Of course that game would be damn demanding.

Or you can just have it set in a past period and do without the modern weaponry all together.

Or just Starcraft Fucking 2!

That game is too utterly retardedly awesome not to want to own it.
my thoughts precisely....that game is so fucking cool
that game is utter shit and all it is, is capcom trying to squize a few more thousand dollars
out of the devil may cry type gameplay, only this time you play as a girl, and damn near strip naked in-front of the camera just so pre-pubesent little shits can buy the game just to jerk off to her naked-ness.
oh I'm sorry, I didn't know facts were based on personal opinion

and no, the game doesn't appeal to me for the protagonist, it's because I like hack and slash games, because of it's aesthetics, do you even know who Gaudi is?..I imagine you don't..well the games maps have been hugely influenced by him, which is pretty fucking amazing...so please, instead of just bashing a game and the people that like it, shut the fuck up,thank you

An RPG set on present day. Just so they're not all set on the Middle Age or post-faster-than-light-travel sci-fi.

... You could probably just make a mod for the game Battlefield 1942 and call it Battlefield 1914.
*Ahem* [http://www.moddb.com/mods/battlefield-1918]

And I would love to see some sort of WW2 game where you played as a nazi soldier in the main campaign. Yeah, WW2 has been overdone, but it would be nice to see a game that would give you a chance to experience the war from the other side (hell, an alternate reality ending where the Nazis win would be interesting, as well).

I want LucasArts to get off of their asses and make a Wii Star Wars game that focuses on using the Wii MotionPlus for proper lightsaber fighting. You know, that game that everybody has been wanting since the Wii came out.
I'd just be happy if lucasArts would stop felating Ol' George and his lightsabers and go back to making good games.

Thank you, I was gonna tell that guy to shut the fuck up and stop trying to derail the thread with his shitty criticisms of a game that isn't even out yet. But it turns out I didn't have to.

Oh yeah, another game I want them to hurry the fuck up with is the Ender's Game based video game based completely in the battleroom. Here's hoping it has a single player with good (read:dynamic) AI, plus a multiplayer element. The multiplayer, though would probably have to be quite restrictive so that more experienced players can't just completely rape the newer players like every other multiplayer system and their dogs.

EDIT: Oh I almost forgot. In the single player mode of the battleroom game, the difficulty settings should also be able to be customized to a ridiculous degree. I'm talking to the degree of difficulty from the actual book, from ridiculously easy (to simulate incompetent commanders), to evenly matched, to multiple degrees of straight up unfair (with examples from the book like: the enemy emerges and surrounds your gate before you can get your team out, the stars being arranged so they completely block off your view of the rest of the room, enemy soldiers unfreezing after five minutes, two enemy armies against your one, or any combination thereof).

A game made about The Troubles. I want it!

In fact it'll probably end up with me being the guy who makes it.
This would be cool.

A civil War game, Up close in yo face combat.

I guess WWI game could work if you played as an info runner (like in the film Galipoli) because trench warfare probably wouldn't make for exciting warfare.

And despite me wanting an occupied France game for so long, this doesn't look compelling at all. Especially since you aren't part of the rebels, just a guy with a chip on his shoulder

Oh, and Cold War stealth game.
THE TROUBLES, huh? I think that's far too sensitive for a developer to go near it. May as well make a game where you can choose to be Israeli or Palestinian and fight in that conflict. That's not a game I want to play. It's all tragedy, and I don't think I'd get any fun out of playing either side. Sinn Fein blowing up my mailbox does not get me excited.
Remember how even hypothetical destruction can generate wild hype and controversy? I mean just look at how the retards went after MW2 for the hypothetical killing of civilians in which you can completely skip anyway, and the hypothetical sacking of Washington D.C.. How much hype and controversy would be generated from acting out a bloody historical event (in this case Bloody Sunday)? Regardless, some people by games because of the controversy.

Somebody said earlier that they wanted a game where you could play a WW2 game from the Nazi's perspective. Can you imagine the hell that would break loose if the game featured a part where you played as a soldier at a concentration camp? We would never hear the end of it.

Playing devils advocate for a second here, there will always be someone pissed of about some game or another, so I don't think developers should shy away from controversial things just in a attempt to be politically correct. Such controversial game would sell well regardless, purely because they are controversial, assuming of course we're talking about countries that don't ban them outright.

I really think a WWI game would be interesting. However the game I think would be really cool is a game that not only has Guerrilla in the title but one that lets you actually play as one. I.E: using stealth and sabotage to defeat a numerically and technologically superior force, in other words everything Red Faction Guerrilla wasn't.

I am in no way advocating P.C. policy. A developer shouldn't shy away from something because it's controversial. I do think that they should shy away from something because it's just shitty, however. A game where you play a sick serial killer with a wicked sense of humor may be fun if done correctly. I do not, however, want to play the role of Charles Manson or John Wayne Gacy, and reenact the real-life murder of Sharon Tate et al. Depicting blood, warfare, gore is all well and good; recreating real-life genocide and tragedy is another matter altogether.

An ex-IRA character with conflicted feelings, complete with flashbacks to The Troubles, could add some very interesting dimension and grit to a game. But a game focusing on all the murders and all the oppression that went on just doesn't seem interesting to me.

Now I'm depressed and need to cheer myself up. I need the combined power of Karen O, Common, Joan Jett and Billy Joe Armstrong to pull myself out of this funk.

That's better.

I want a fantasy game (Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, etc), but in a more modern setting.

I want elves and dwarves and humans to fight with magical guns that shoot lightning, and fire.

The Elves could be leading in some biological engineering venues, making weaponized plants that can feed off of minuscule amounts of moisture. For example, a seed that you can fire like a bullet, and when it comes in contact with an enemy, a giant plant springs forth from his body, killing him.

Dwarves could be like tiny little arms dealers, making kickass guns that, idk, shoot battleaxes or something.

A rough idea, but I would totally buy a game like that
