Also Jet Force Gemini. I have literally sunk 300+ hours into that game. Seems like the only Rare games people remember are Donkey Kong and Goldeneye/Perfect Dark.

1. Threads of Fate
2. Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie
3. Ikaruga
4. Brave Fencer Musashi
5. Wild 9
6. Xmen: Mutant Academy 2
7. Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey
8. SSX3
9. Soul Blade
You sir, have a most radical list... I'd like to add to the Musashi thing with Samurai Legend for the PS2. Its a series that could really use a PS3 iteration.

Adding to Gundam side story 0079, I'll include Septerra Core and Shogo: Mobile Armor Division, I got the two in a sweet deal of 10$ for the collection of them. I kick myself for forgetting about them, but its understandable since either one doesn't agree with Vista...

and I'm including a game that, while not the greatest, it was still decent, but Magi-Nation for the GBA. It was based off the card game of the same name, which worked almost like Magic The Gathering. I loved the style of the cards, and next to MTG, is my all-time favorite TCG, a shame they discontinued it though...
Yeah. Its also a shame they haven't made a sequel to Threads of Fate, yet allured to a sequel at the end.

I don't think it's that no one remembers it, but no one seems to talk about it.

Parasite Eve.

It had a big company, a sequel, a cool mix of Silent Hill type creepiness and action RPG goodness and it was well received by critics. Yet I hear people go on and on about Legend of Dragoon and other RPGs of that era, but no one ever gives Parasite Eve the love it deserves...
If it comes out on PSn, I'd play it.

OT: I would say Final Fantasy Tactics Advance...
I mean, everyone talks about the original... I loved this version
That's the one I always talk about, though I think I always fail to specify. I don't believe I've ever played the original.

Dark Messiah and Heroes III.

Personally I loved both games, even though Dark Messiah is fairly recent. (I very much liked the newest heroes, too)

Or Armymen (I think that's what it was called, with the toy soldiers. I was pretty young when it came out, didn't speak English either, but it was great)

There was one that I used to play quite a lot called Silent Storm. It was a turn based squad game, similar in function to X-COM.

And this.... Well, I played it once at a random shoe store in the States and its never left my mind. I got to throw burning basketballs at giant spiders.
You sound like a man/woman who needs to experience the greatest jrpg style game ever created.

Soul Blade.
People SHOULD remember this game, cos it was freakin' awesome.
It might be remembered well elsewhere in the world, but in the UK, it seems to be a ghost. People only remember it's (less awesome) sequels.

Flying Dragon for the N64, it was my favorite fighting game. I loved the SD mode and finding all the treasures.

The Army Men series especially Sarge's Heroes

The BattleTanx series

And Battle Zone Rise of the Black Dogs, its the first game I played that I could command forces outside of a RTS.

Damn Backlash was impossible to control. I loved the Jetpack mech on the other hand.

Dog with rocket feet! I remember playing this, though I didn't get very far. To be fair, I only rented it, unfortunately.

My contribution? Body Harvest. That game was both frustrating and loads of fun, and the cheat codes for it were just awesome. Let's make all the buildings "dance," and turn our machine gun into a homing rocket launcher.

EDIT for Ninja: BattleTanx was sweet. Global Assault was a bit better in my eyes for one simple reason: co-op campaign. Seriously, how often did you see that on the N64?

There's this game where you were playing the Chicago Mob in the 1930s, it was a real time strategy game, even I don't remember the name. What I do remember though is sending around tough men to various shops to pressure them into getting protection, and there was always this sound clip of "Sure, I could use some protection."

Do you think you have a game no one seems to remember but you? So tell your game. If someone has heard of it, tell them what type of game it is and whats it about. Then confirm whether there right. Lets see how many games people really have never heard of other than you.
FYI: Do not make up a game. It must exist. and no looking the game up.

Mine is Knife edge.
are you talking about knife edge: nose gunner? if so that was the first game I ever bought :D

OT: mine is Streak: hoverboard racing or whatever it was called. It was a ps1 hoverboard racing game.
YA! Knife Edge. man it was the hardest game ever! I only got to level 4. The boss was to ICE lions. died as soon as I entered the fight. BUT IT WAS AWESOME!!!

Disciples 2. The game is pretty much never brought up in any turn-based strategy discussion, typically because the acclaimed HOMM series sold a bit better...

Also, Anachronox

...

Did I mention Warhammer40,000: Fire Warrior?

...

How about Sylpheed: The Lost Planet

...

Allright, allright, how about MS Saga?

The streets of Simcity would be mine. I really love that game, even though the graphics are now laughable. I grew up with Midtown Madness so when you added guns to the mix, I was a happy boy.

Cultures, which I didn't like, and the Myst series, which I did. Although I still haven't finished that %$#@#@~@**&$ soul-lights puzzle thing in Myst IV...
