For me it's
1.) I love "Multiwinia" and "Threadspace: hyperbol" even though I don't like most RTS's
They both try very different approaches to the genre and they remove and replace most of the things i hate about most rts's
2.) I hated "Torchlight" even though i LOVE dungeon crawlers.
it felt mindless and grindy. the interface is crap, so are the controls, there are barley any customization and, well just watch Yahzee's review of it.
If you wonder what the point of this thread is, its to raise awareness of exceptions in genres and help people get into a wider variety of genres they don't really get.
