Man how can i be so stupid! Of Course Diablo 2, and Baulders Gate 2. I was thinking Mario 3, but i would be lieing if i said i enjoyed it better than Mario 2. I always liked the style of Mario 2 over Mario 3 for some reason.Mark Hardigan said:A few ones of note however: Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Diablo 2, and Icewind Dale 2 and Super Mario Brothers 3.
What can I say?Donnyp said:You stand as a lone man burdening the horridness of that game on your shoulders? lol.Joe Matsuda said:Metal Gear Solid 2
I stand by that it is the best in the series...
...even if no one else does...
OT: MGS3. Best in the series.
I loved Half-life 2, but all it has above the original is the gravity gun and better graphics. While it can certainly be considered as good as the original, it's not better.cybran said:Am I the first one to say... Half Life 2?
This is The Escapist, half of us are english teachers (or at least we think we are)..p-0-q. said:sorry i wasnt aware that my english teacher would be reading my postMark Hardigan said:Firstly, punctuation: what is the reasoning for including such silly punctuation as "?!?!" That sort of punctuation simply does not exist. A question mark is perfectly adequate. Your title makes it seem like you're in my face, screaming your question at me like some sort of ten-foot tall gerbil on cocaine.
Few sequels, IMHO, have been better than the originals. Some have things that are better than other things in the first, but very few are truly better than the original.
A few ones of note however: Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Diablo 2, and Icewind Dale 2 and Super Mario Brothers 3.
but thanks for the heads up
I love sandbox games, but from what i gather from Yahtzee it's pretty empty.reggaerae said:Red Dead Redemption can be considered a sequel to Red Dead Revolver, and is undoubtedly an insanely fun game.

Or we're just far too concerned with grammar than would be considered healthy. >.>Phlakes said:This is The Escapist, half of us are english teachers (or at least we think we are)..p-0-q. said:sorry i wasnt aware that my english teacher would be reading my postMark Hardigan said:*Blah blah blah*.

I liked Jak 2 too but found it a tad punishing at times so I'm gonna go with jak 3. Plus I'll go with erm...Dark Chronicle as that added much more such as the incredibly diverse georama and just the music and environments alone made it much more memorable.p-0-q. said:agreed xD.Pimppeter2 said:Jak 2
The greatest game to have ever existed in the history of ever
If you ever wanted to be a cowboy who goes around doing most anything you can think of that a cowboy would do, you'll love the hell out of it. Pretty much everything you'd expect to or to happen in a western happens in Red Dead. It even has the Wilhelm scream in it, and on a couple occasions I've watched a guy who I just shot scream, fire a shot straight up into the air, spin around and fall backwards over a railing. And there's an achievement/trophy for hogtying a woman and leaving her on the traintracks.Jorias said:I love sandbox games, but from what i gather from Yahtzee it's pretty empty.reggaerae said:Red Dead Redemption can be considered a sequel to Red Dead Revolver, and is undoubtedly an insanely fun game.
