Russian, because aside from being interesting, it sounds awesome too.
I have Russian heritage, and want to visit as well.

Plus. Love the accent.
I should say, since learning Russian, I've completely lost the ability to do a convincing Russian accent, except while actually speaking Russian. :p

Ainu, so I can shut up the jerks who show off their Latin with a REALLY obscure moribund language. I'm currently studying Chinese and Japanese though, so I don't really have time for any more at the moment.

Learn more: German. I've taken 2 classes in Sophomore year of High School, but didn't want to do more since they focus more on speaking & writing (not good at that with German. Better with reading).

Others: Hebrew, Japanese, Russian.

Hebrew - Seems like a beautiful and ancient language.

Japanese - Might make it my University Minor, since I want to learn it but I think it'd be hard to without lots of classes on it.

Russian - It sounds badass and cool. That's it.

Finnish, because Finland is awesome. As are Finns.

Spanish because if I combine it with my English and Mandarin I can communicate with the majority of the planet.
I would also like to improve my very limited Japanese, French, and German.

Currently studying Japanese.
Want to learn more French than I did at school.
Mandarin, Cantonese and Korean are possibilities later on (partly because we might be ruled by those countries some day :p).
Italian, Spanish, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and Russian if I'm not dead by the time I'm able to study them hehe. Maybe Esperanto too....

Even though I'm Scottish, learning Gaelic seems a waste of time since there is such a small number of speakers. May as well invest in learning a language that'll be of use.

Russian because I want to go to Russia. Also so I can read Metro 2033.

Japanese because I also want to go there. I actually have some friends who know it.

That is all

Last summer I told myself that I would try to learn the Black Speech of Mordor. Or maybe just a few key phrases.

Didn't really work out all that well. It's complicated, and very incomplete. Furthermore, most of the vocabulary involves raping and pillaging and blood and murder and all-around rude insults to anything not engrained with an evil soul. Fun stuff, I know. But not the most practical thing around dinner parties.

Maybe I'll try again this summer.

I'm quickly picking up Swedish, since I plan to move there in the future, as it's not a very challenging language quite honestly. Finnish too, I would love to learn, but seeing as its roots are completely different from any other western language, it's tough, to say the least. :p

French. As a Canadian, we have to learn French up until the 9th grade (at least where I live), and have the option of continuing past that... well, I never did. And now I regret it. I may try re-learning, when I have time.

Edit: I forgot to add, I would also like to learn my mother's native tongue, Tagalog. I can only speak a few words and phrases (greetings and swear words), nothing conversational really.

A language? There's a lot of languages I'd like to learn but if I had to pick one, it would probably be russian. Why? Because a lot of people speak it (and if you say "but why not learn chinese or hindi?" I'll just say "because I don't want to).

A Hermit's Cave
Esperanto... for shits & giggles.

Seriously, the Nordic languages, because they sound nicer than German (though to be fair, sounds awesome when shouted).

Finnish. Partly to understand some of their music better (or even at all), and partly because I want to go there sometime, and I imagine it's so much easier with an understanding of the language.

Probably the other Scandinavian languages as well, now I think about it...
