Mystery attracts.
This guy has it right, the combination of innocence, mystery, curves and sci-fi makes her irresistible to nerds/social retards and geeks.

Oh lord, no!

On the plus side, that would certainly be the mother of all buzzkills to the jerky teenagers hoping for a Talimance.

And just wtf is that?
Behold! The common Mindflayer:

Now who wouldn't hope for a romantic subplot with that?
Good god...

Im hoping you meant that, and not rules 34/35/46............
Rule 36: "If you've thought of it, there's somebody out there with a fetish for it."

I'm gonna disagree and say that this falls under rule 34, not 36. I'm willing to stake a cookie that there's already pr0n of it.
I checked, for proffesionol reasons of course, and YES rule 34 has aleady been aplied, and YES rule 34 ruined my childhood.

According to tv tropes, Rule 34 is separate from Rule 36. Read the 7th paragraph: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RuleThirtyFour

I... gotta be honest, on Mass Effect Tali was the only female character I thought was actually interesting

The human character (can't remember her name) felt like too much of tomboy (yes I know she's in the army, she's supposed to be like that)

while the other one (also can't remember her name) acted like she was 16, at times it felt...wrong

Haven't played Mass effect myself, but from the pics I'm seeing this Tali heroine looks like a cybernetic nun to me, so to say. In other words, totally not attractive, at least not in this disturbing way you people are discussing..

I think people look a bit too far into romantic subplots in games. I personally enjoy having them in the games, but damn, some people are creepy.

Probably because she was the only woman in that game you couldn't put your willy in. She's like the forbidden fruit, if the forbidden fruit was deathly allergic to bacteria and would be killed horribly by minor contact with another species.

These rules are not the originals, rule 36: "There will always be even more fucked up shit than what you just saw." Rule 34: "If you can think of it, there is porn of it. No exceptions."

Because I found Tali attractive personally and phyiscally, thats why. She had a nice ass, she's a wrench wench, and she's a generally grounded good natured but not stupid and willing to cut some bitches kind of girl. She's the most 'normal' or neutral of all of them.
Exactly! When I was playing the game she was the only character I would have boned. The human pissed me off because of her racial supremacy and Liara was just a boring character.
