People who care enough about some retarded PG13 "sexual" thing in a sequal to a rather crappy game are seriously in need of some real sex. With an actual person. Then they'd stop writing and demanding complete nonsense at least.

Who cares about Tali?

I want a thresher maw romance!
lol, that would be pretty hot! :)
Although, for all we know, Tali looks just like a Thresher Maw under that helmet...

Yes, go apply your morals to everyone. It's wrong to do this, it's wrong to do that.

It's just a fictional character, why do you care? It doesn't apply to you.
Couldn't have said it better myself. Considering you can completely avoid it if you choose, there is absolutely no reason it should bother anyone.

That's the funny thing about BioWare games. In both Mass Effect and Dragon Age: Origins I ended up in romances by accident. I was just trying to be nice to all my teammates by talking to them but for some reason this always causes one of them to fall in love with me. I can imagine the same thing happening in Mass Effect 2.

And it still bothers me regardless. Mostly because BioWare fucked with their own established story to make this happen. I'm also disturbed by the large number of people who want to have virtual sex with a character who's face they have never seen. I don't get where this massive attraction to Tali came from. Out of all the characters she is the least interesting, at least in the first game.

To the contrary, I know many, MANY people who found Tali to have the most interesting and attractive personality. Ultimately it comes down to personal preference, but this really is no different to choosing Liara because you liked her character more than Ashley's.

Oh I know a lot of people think she has the mos interesting personality. That doesn't mean it's true. The writers used Tali to explain the backstory of the Quarians and the Geth, and that's about it. She talks about Quarians in general, rarely giving any details about her own personal life. Compared to your other squadmates she isn't a developed character. I don't have a problem with this, but I just perplexes me that so many people swoon over her. Though maybe her lack of character development is why people like her, as it doesn't give you many reasons to hate her.

When I rented mass effect (Kinda wish i bought it, il probably get it when i get ME2) i felt that Tali was the most interesting of all of the charicters. Mainly because you know almost nothing about her and she is very quiet.

On kind of a wild tangent here but still relivant. What happens if you use old data and get in a relationship with a different charicter than the first game... would the 2 relationships clash?

I can kinda see where your coming from but on the flip side, personality is a preference, not a fact. A lot of people liked Ashley while I thought she was a racist *****. That doesn't mean they or I am wrong; we just have different feelings/taste.
