I try to keep a status up at all times, usually the goings on in my life or what have you. Occasionally a random quote if I can't think of anything else.

People who post quotes annoy me. Seriously, if you find something nice, keep it to yourself and draw from it. The only place i have quotes on my facebook are in the Favourite Quotes section and the small information box under the profile picture and even thats "If, and we shall try, cannot reason with them. It is time to kick ass" Mahatma Gandhi.

Personally? I mostly just upload photos of (lets take an example) Spongebob, and tag it as my fat orange father.

I do the first one, is that bad?
The last thing like that I posted was a quote by Oscar Wilde a few weeks ago. Sometimes lyrics, if I have a song in my head, or a funny quote.

The thing that pisses me off no end, is people using 'FML.'
I swear people don't know what it stands for and just use it because everyone else is. I keep seeing 'nothing to do tonight, fml.' 'I can't afford a second jar of caviare fml'
And my favourite person who documents every minute of his shitty relationship on Facebook. 'why am i doing this for you, you clearly don't love me :(' etc. It's so annoying, but hilarious how attention seeking some people are.

I have a relative who is seemingly obsessed with those "If you agree with/like this status, repost it!" things. Sometimes will go through 5-6 of them a day.

Never understood them, myself. They're like an even more annoying chain letter.

I just started facebook. I don't like the inspirational quotes or the likes such as "I hate walking outside and having a girrafe kicking you in the balls". It's dumb, makes no sense, and isn't funny.

I occasionally link to a news article. I also recall linking to Yahtzee's ZP videos a few times.

I mostly post links to music though.
Unfortunately, I haven't had anyone mention how they can't access NND videos. I was expecting that damn it.

Well, since we're talking about things we hate, here are a few:

1) "OMG, guys suck!!! *proceed to get 15 likes*" I'm so tempted to make a status saying "OMG, girls are bitches" and see what the reaction is. My guess is less than positive. DOUBLE STANDARDS FTW.

2) Passive aggressive statuses. I say that if someone did something bad enough that I even consider making a facebook status about it, they deserve to be called out.

3) The post-breakup statuses. You say you've moved on? If you really did, you wouldn't be making facebook statuses about it. Stfu.

As for what I make statuses about, just random musings and things that happened during the day. For example, my latest status is about how stupid I am for drinking water filled with pepper, salt, and sugar.

I've never noticed any of those trends among my friends. All I notice is that three friends have stupid apps that post random crap on my wall. I don't take quizzes.

Heck, I am so uninvolved in Facebook. I update my status, comment on a few pictures or statuses and quit. It is the only way to "talk" to my friends as several refuse/don't have skype to use. My social life is hundreds of kilometres away :/

Jane Smith Ooohhh, soooo excited about something I can't tell anyone about!!!!!1!!1
Oh those people. Fuck them. The entire point of posting shit on the internet is so other people can know and maybe discuss it if it's worthwhile. I see this quite a bit with girls posting passive aggressive messages.
There is one girl who posts incredibly often like that and it gets very annoying and everyone likes it and agree's, it seems like she isn't positive about anything. I don't really have any special thing I do on facebook. I make snarky comments as my status and what i'm doing but nothing special really.

I notice some people using sad quotes in their profile, but not too many. Then again I add my friends and not just "the douchebags I used to go to high school with".

I find that I must on put a funny quote in my profile every now and then.

There's this girl on my Facebook, who's just so full of anger. Every single status update has to do with "people's bullshit", "backstabbing ways", "fakeness" etc.
I actually can't remember a single 'happy' status that she's ever posted.

I usually post links to news, images, and whatnot that I think are interesting, amusing, or important. Like articles on the Escapist! And every Extra Credits episode. Usually gets people to read or look at them, so I feel like I've accomplished my goal. And I find out who is interested in similar things.

However, I really can't stand when people passive-aggressively ***** at specific people with statuses (sp? that looks weird). Just post on their wall or send them a message if you are that upset.
Actual real to life example: "First off:go take ur bullshit and what u think bout me somewhere else. Second: you don't know shit about me so don't say what I do n don't do. Third: you have no business in talkin bout me n saying that shit."

Or this type of thing: "I wish I could say the things that were on my mind but fuck it it's not worth it anymore..:) done wit it"

Thanks for sharing that, I can already feel my life being enriched...

I hate the trends of groups such as
'X is a legend for doing this' and the picture is either a survey or a something which is rather stupid
'Women think periods are painful try having X happen do you on COD'
'If X celebrity committed suicide Y% people would also commit suicide, Like this if your the (100-Y)% who wouldn't commit suicide'
Joke ripped from Sickipedia
'something about Inbetweeners'
'something about the "Pick on me celebrity"'
