No. I don't think there's many people in Europe who care about american football.

The BBC seem to be pushing the SB for some reason - I myself prefer rugby (go go six nations!).
I remember the commentators said hello to the American viewers midway through the Scotland-France rugby match (cheekily adding they were "probably perplexed by the lack of shoulder pads"). Perhaps there's some deal to show rugby in America and the super bowl here.

I won't be watching though, I'm not interested in sports. Only watched the Scotland game as it's the national team, and a friend on Xbox was shouting "OMG you failures!".
Rugby isn't shown much here. You can catch it on specialty channels like Fox Soccer plus and I am pretty sure the world cup is pay per view but other than that you aren't going to see it on TV that often. Maybe really late night ESPN if you are lucky.

Nope, I find watching sporting events to be one of the most boring and pointless things to watch on TV. I don't care much for sports to begin with, but even if I did, I'd rather be out PLAYING them than watching it. There is nothing in these sporting events to get me excited for, who are these people and what are they doing? why should I care?

I barely watch much TV these days anyways, but when I do I'd prefer something with a lot more entertainment value like a TV show or comedy...or hell even just the news.

Mate, why would I even bother when the Six Nations Rugby is on at the moment?

:p

Having said that, I might give it a go tonight, depending on when it starts/ ends. I gotta be up early as its a Monday an' all.

It doesn't get aired or even mentioned by the media in Holland. And even if it did, I couldn't care less.

It's called American football for a reason; nobody outside of America gives a hoot about it.

I'm in Canada, and I'm really not that interested in it. I don't think that I'll be watching.

Well, to be honest, no.

New Zealand just cleaned up the Wellington Sevens, and I really only paid attention to that because all the fans wore costumes and the whole thing was over in 2 days.

That's about the extent of my interest in televised sport outside of the olympics.

Are any of you planning on watching the Super Bowl? Do you care at all?
No and no. American sport doesn't do anything for me. I think it's because it lacks international competition and player base. Having said that, I don't mind to watch a little bit of baseball now and then.

No...not really. If I wanted to see big men tackerling each other I would go to a gay porn site.

Lol? I don't take interest in any sport to begin with.

I can't even get on a channel to watch the damn game here in Sweden.
Though, I find it funny you call it "Football" when kicking it is your last resort. It's usually thrown, tackled with or handed over they way I see it.

The Super Bowl is increasing in popularity here in NZ. Certainly not to any great degree but whereas it used to be that Super Bowl passed without anyone batting an eyelid now it gets a little media coverage and there are people around who seem to care about it. Can't imagine why.

No, I do not care about it in the slightest. American football is just a boring version of rugby, so I'm more inclined to watch the Six Nations. Ireland is definitely going to win, especially after our strong start against the Italians.

No.
I'm not that interested in sports.

That, and I've got better things to do.
