EDIT: I changed the title. Happy now?
Well, America is two continents (or one super-continent, if you prefer), so you are excluding Canadians, Mexicans and everyone in South America.

[small]Yeah, ok, I'll be quiet now[/small]
Why I aughtta!
I was going to see if I could throw in the contiguous United States, given that Hawaii is way over there...but actually, is the Superbowl popular in Hawaii, given that it is way over there? One wonders what the cultural differences are, being so far removed from mainland US.
Yeah Hawaii plays football and they get all the big networks that play the superbowl. The Superbowl is a bit of an oddity in the United States. About half the audience watches for the commercials instead of the game and it has been that way since the seventies. Unlike rugby that goes on uninterrupted for 40 minutes before having five minutes or so of commercial time before going on uninterrupted for another 40 minutes, Football has a lot of pauses and breaks that allows commercials to be played. Normally commercials are garbage everywhere but because of the cost of airtime for superbowl commercials companies put a ton of extra effort into them which tends to lead to really funny commercials. Sadly the last two years kinda sucked on that front but the superbowl still has the reputation of having the best commercials of the year.

I do watch it, at times, but it's not the pinnacle of my week. I'm a pretty casual viewer, now that I think about it.

Honestly I'm not even sure how to watch that in England, I doubt my meagre 4 channels will show it. If so then maybe, in the background or something.

To be honest, no.
I find sport an extremely dull thing to watch or partake in.
But that's probably just me being a lazy fatass, and generally unsociable.

I currently am watching the pre-game stuff. It's just a reason for me to binge eat and watch sport. (I don't do either usually) I find American Football so much more tolerable than a lot of sports and I'm not sure why. XD

Did you completely skip over the "Please be polite" sentence in the OP?

Do most Americans care about the world championship in soccer? Or the Eurovision Song Contest? :b

So to answer your question: nope, I don't.
The Soccer world Cup actually has gotten a lot of attention here in recent years. The last two cups got huge media attention. As for a signing contest? No we do do not watch that.

The link in the OP contains a list of channels it is playing on including a BBC channel.

Most non-American's don't really care, such as most American's don't care about other world's sports. And I myself will not be watching this year's Super Bowl because of the Steelers bullcrap win against the New York Jets, so they don't have my time nor interest to watch their little show.

yes, my apologies.
(it's still true though.)
Again with the lack of politeness.

I'm sure you would be perfectly willing to tell a professional football player to his face that he is a pussy.

The BBC seem to be pushing the SB for some reason - I myself prefer rugby (go go six nations!).
I remember the commentators said hello to the American viewers midway through the Scotland-France rugby match (cheekily adding they were "probably perplexed by the lack of shoulder pads"). Perhaps there's some deal to show rugby in America and the super bowl here.

I won't be watching though, I'm not interested in sports. Only watched the Scotland game as it's the national team, and a friend on Xbox was shouting "OMG you failures!".
Yeah, they are pushing the Six Nations Rugby thinamajig here.

No, but I don't care much about sports full-stop. The only one I'm actually interested in is Fencing, and I'm not watching; I'm doing.

what about my apology strikes you as impolite?

in response to your question.
1: in comparison to a rugby player (does not wear body armour much beyond a lightweight gumshield, does not have to stop for a breather after every 10 seconds of play, and does not simply have his game strategy screamed at him by a coach) yes.
2: I can run like hell when i have too, so ... do you have any suggestions as to where i could find a professional american football player :)

It's airing in Norway, and I'm watching the pre-show right now.

I just want to see what all the fuzz is about. And I like the cheese hats, so go Packers, I guess.

I'm listening to it on the NFL Audiopass, because I don't have Satellite TV. I'd love to watch it though, after playing Madden I've gotten hooked on the sport.

Also, the only real rugby is Super rugby. Go Bulls...
