I don't have any close friends except for my brother. Everyone else is just a work colleague or an acquaintance.

If you consider acquaintances as friends, then I hang out with slightly more men than women.
As for sexuality, all my friends have been straight (or so I think). One might be bisexual, but she might have said that as a joke or to get a response out of people, I don't know. She only dates men.

As for skin-colour, most of my friends have been white or east asian, with most of them being asian. Given that I'm half white, half east asian... I guess I share their skin colour(s)? Or I share it with none of them? They're pale-ish and I'm pale-ish, so I guess our skin colours are pretty similar.

Do you have more friends of the same sex, or of the opposite sex?
Opposite... Which is kinda strange if you knew me... (male)

Do you have more heterosexual friends, or more non-heterosexual friends?
Most of them are straight... Although I know a few who are non and several others who appear on the fence...

Do you have more friends with the same skin tone as you, or different skin tone?
98% of them are caucasian like myself...

Actually, I think they're all white...

As for nationality, they're all different to mine...

I have about equal amounts of male/female friends (I'm all-inclusive), most hetero (I only know a couple openly gay people) and are mostly white (because everyone around here is mostly white).

I have roughly the same amount of male friends as I do female. My two best friends in the world happen to be one guy who's hispanic and a white girl who's lesbian so that pretty much covers all your questions right there :D

I have about 4 close male friends and 3 female friends. One is my ex who I don't talk to much anymore but she'll always have my back and so will I. As for 'friends' well I guess more male but I usually only count close friends for questions like this.

I live in a part of texas with many hispanics so most if not all are brownish or a mix of white/hispanic like myself. And all are straight except my one lesbian best friend.

My close friends are white and heterosexual, like me. About an even mix of males and females, though.

First off, let me state that I don't deal with skin colour. As in to say, my mind can't compute it.

A person is a person to me. It usually takes me quite a while to figure out questions like this. As in, I'd normally go "Oh, my friends are predominantly white." And then I'd think about it. And then I'd think about it some more. "Actually... does being Lebanese count as white? And that friend is heavily Italian, but the Lebanese friend is about the same colour in skintone... so if the Lebanese friend isn't white, the Italian isn't? I thought they traditionally were. Hmm. Well, and that friend's from the Caribbean somewhere... not sure on that front..."

It's usually around this point that I give up trying to answer the question for the safety of my mind. A person is a person, so why should it matter, really? To reiterate, because I enjoy being redundant: the only times I actually think about the skin colour of someone I know is generally when it is directly addressed. Other times, it will not even cross my mind.

However, to answer the other questions, I would say my friends are predominantly of the opposite sex. And heterosexual. [Though gods only know on that front.] And please note: I say "predominantly". I have known, and been friends with, quite a few people of varying sexualities. Most of whom I no longer speak to, but that is for completely unrelated reasons.

Now that I've given as much an answer as I could to your questions, OP, I'd appreciate if you would answer mine. What was the argument? What topic? What were you arguing, and what were they?

I'm curious; indulge me.

Dont really have too many friends, chronic shyness sort of halts progress is firendships.
I have a few female friends, but I never keep in touch,I never really bother.
I have a lot of male friends, white Heterosexual males who I also rarely kep in touch woth. I think two or three guys have a steam account, but other than writing PC gamer master race chat gibberish on steam and seeing them at school,I cut all ties.
Those guys I knew for most of my life, and the friednahip progressed slowly, like I siad, I'm incredibaly shy and dont talk much, writing and typing anonymously is much easier for me.

Nearly all my friends are White Heterosexual males and females... that is because in the British Air Force nearly the entire population is!

Also at home all my friends are also white, with a 50/50 split on male/female. The girls in my group of friends have tended to come and go with a central core group of lads. The girls tend to stop hanging around with us when they got boyfriends outside of our group. They were replaced however by long-term girlfriends of the guys in the group... it's like a couples thing now, but I guess that's just because we are growing up, and that's how this thing goes! The only single guys are me and my mate in the Army... both of us are too busy with training and our jobs to get girlfriends at the moment!

Offline, I have more male friends than I do female, but I have a lot of female friends. I have a couple gay friends, a couple Asian, a couple black. I'm everyone's friend, essentially. Online, however, I have considerably more female friends than I do male. Why I have the friends I do, I do not know. I tend not to question it, as my friends are some of my most precious treasures.

Most of my friends are actually females (I'm male) and heterosexual. Most are of the same skin tone, though I have some of different nationalities. I end up being that guy my female friends lean on when they need someone that can just come over and support them without trying to get in their pants, and I honestly get along with more women than men, I honestly couldn't tell you for sure why.

Mostly guys, with 5 female friends.

I personally regard my pale skin as a type of skin tone, and only 3 of my friends are pale.
If going by white/black etc..., then white and black are about even, others make up the other 20%.

Mostly straight, a few bi, 1 gay, and 1 lesbian.

Yeah living in rural England you don't get many different types of people

I have about the same amount of male and female friends, perhaps slightly more male friends. I have mostly male friends because I don't really act very girly and any talk about makeup/shoes/hair which lasts more than 5mins makes me want to shoot myself in the face. To my knowledge, all of my friends are heterosexual and I am the only bisexual out of us. I have obviously met a lot of homosexual people but for dating not friendship. I only have a few friends who are the same skin colour as me. This is because I live in a really multi-cultural area where white people are actually the minority.

I'm female and I've got an even spread of friends in the gender department, and because I live in rural England, we're all whiter than porcelain. Seriously, no one wants to emigrate here. It sucks. All but two are straight.

Pretty much all of my friends are heterosexual males. No females or gays, much to my dismay.

As for race, it's about fifty fifty on whites and hispanics. That'll happen in LA. :p

Still, I wish I had a little more diversity in my friendships.
