I was thinking about it for a little while, you know how they say grunt is a "Pure" Krogan, no DNA from another race or anything. Does that mean Krogan can mate with other alien races too? its kinda bugging me and that Krogan Warlord just use circler logic and im glad hes dead for being so stupid.

I don't understand what you're saying.

As far as I know, yes, they can mate with other species. By pure, however, they meant that he had no physical imperfections. He is the most pure of all Krogan.

Guys, enough with the Mass effect 2 threads. You are focussing on a really obscure part of a game and you aren't even using any spoiler tags. I haven't beaten the game yet, but you fanboys are really making it hard to play.

Krogan can mate with Asari, as Asari can mate with anything, but they will always come out Asari-dominant.

Aside from that, MorsePacific covered what I would have otherwise said.

When I was playing the game I didnt click on a single Mass Effect thread. Show a little self control.

To be honest I dont really know, he was just a great character. I thought it meant that he was the combination of all great Krogan traits of honour and lacking the traits that lead to some Krogan from not caring about their semi genocide

edit: I didnt want to call him a fool

He was genetically engineered. There was like...one line of dialog that talks about splicing alien genes into some tank-bred Krogan.

There are currently 3 of these on the hot topics board. Its not even interesting discussion, its just asking about something that doesn't matter at all, not even in the game.

If it's gonna be interesting, than I may respond. Overthinking something doesn't make a good topic.

You havent meet a massive RPG nerd have you? I like to learn everything about charecters, and why do you think they have the dialog trees where you can learn about them?

but he still has the genophage, the only thing i can think that makes him really different is his head ridges and doesnt have the massive slouch the other krogans have.

"Except for the traces of genophage found in all Krogan"

I believe that was about what the game or EDI said.

I'm not sure what that meant either. I'm pretty sure they did say he has the genophage, and as far as I am aware krogan can't mate with other species and have offspring, so I figured they meant he is genetically a "perfect" specimen of the krogan species, with no imperfections or weaknesses.

You know he was grown in a tank, not born like all other krogans are born, he was also given the cells of only the great leaders of the krogan and all of them were likely before the genophage so its still a possibilty that he has no genophage

First of all, the genophage was released like a thousand years before Mass Effect 2.

Secondly, the game very clearly states he has genophage. The whole point Okeer was trying to make was that they shouldn't give a damn about the genophage.

No. He was given all dominant Krogan genes from past warlords, and has had the genophage mutation genetically removed from him.
