This is truly a loss for this community, I can't say that I knew her well, but I always enjoyed reading her posts. In the R and P section, she always had something intelligent to say, and rarely did she say an unkind word to those who disagreed with her.

May she find peace, whatever it may be.

I offer my condolences. I did not know Kortney that well, but I used to see her posts. She had this calm, rational tone in her posts that would piss off so many people. A loss for everyone, family and community.

God... She was a few months younger than me, according to her date of birth on her profile. It sucks when anyone dies, but especially someone that young.

I can't say that I'll miss her, as I never knew her. Still, she frequented this geeky website that I enjoy so much, and that's enough to make me feel a sort of kinship with her.

Rest in peace, Kortney. I'm sure that the world has lost something special with your passing.

I didn't really know her, but she usually made some excellent points and I often agreed with her.

I never knew her or even spoke to her on here but it's tragic when a young person dies, especially in such a sudden way.

She was and is our sister in humanity and her passing is something to mourn. My prayers go out to her family.
