I'm sorry to bring up humor in this thread, but that reminds me of something from Arrested Development. "I am the world's first analyst and therapist. I call myself an analrapist." *hands out business cards*richd213 said:Why does the word "therapist" have to be spelt exactly the same as "the rapist"?MasterOfWorlds said:I think that Luke should see a therapist
OT: I pretty much agree with RadeonX: expell Ryan and suspend Luke. I don't know why Ryan wasn't expelled earlier to be honest with you.
Why should it matter if it happened in school? Rape is rape, doesn't matter if they're both guys. Ryan should be arrested, not just expelled.LiftYourSkinnyFists said:If the attempted rape didn't happen in school or have any proof of actually happening, there's no valid excuse for the outburst.
They should both be canned.
Oh my god im so sorry ;~;trophykiller said:Why do we have so many people blaming the victim? Poor Luke, people just don't know what it looks like from his point of view. Rape isn't funny, and I'm able to empathize with luke, having been sexually assaulted by my own mother.
No, I'm not joking. My mom is possibly the worst on the planet.
NO! NO! NO! He should see a Phycologist! Nothing wrong with how that's spelt! No Sir! Nope! Nuh-uh!MasterOfWorlds said:I think that Luke should see a therapist to help resolve some of his issues and Ryan should be expelled for the attempted rape of a student. I don't really see much to think about here.
word for word Ninja'dbabinro said:Follow the school rules as normal, the situation leading up to the fight is irrelevant. Whoever started the fight should be expelled. Furthermore, considering the situation, legal action could be taken by the party if they choose to go a step further.
"Ryan " attempted to rape "Luke"? And Luke was the one who beat the shit out of Ryan? I would call that karma... Also Ryan should have been expelled long before the fight ever happened, in my honest opinion.RadioactiveTurtle said:Recently, at my sixth form college a fight broke out between a best friend of mine and and one of his ex-friends. Now to make it clear now, this fight wasn't a play ground scuffle; it was brutal and all out: it took two teachers too restrain my friend from continuing the fight where as the other guy could barely move afterwards. Now usually, at our school this is grounds for expulsion for the person who started the fight, if not both of them.
However;
This issue is causing some debate over what should happen to my friend (who from now on will be referred too as "Luke") and to the boy who he was fighting (from here on out will be referred to as "Ryan"). Weeks before this fight, Ryan and Luke ended their friendship because Ryan attempted to rape Luke. The attempted rape has caused Luke some psychological issues and trama, though not severe enough to keep him away from continuing his school life. The head of the sixth form is aware of what happened to Luke, and people who witnessed the fight have said that ryan provoked Luke by mentioning the rape attempt. This information is making it difficult to decide what will happen to the both of them.
So escapist, what do you think should happen?
Yeah this sounds about right. Poor Luke thoughtRadeonx said:I think that Ryan should be expelled and Luke should be suspended.
Even if he is taunting you for something as terrible as rape, you still shouldn't be able to kick the everliving shit out of him, especially in a school. I understand why it is easy to say that Luke shouldn't get any discipline, but getting in a brutal fight at a school can endanger more kids then just the two who are in the start of the fight.
Sucks for Luke, though.
I thought this. So this guy tried to rape someone and everyone knows? So why isn't he in police custody instead of walking around in the guys school...If I was a parent I'm pretty sure I would be alarmed by that sixth form or no.Grey Walker said:Umm.... how about pressing charges and sending "Ryan" to jail? Or at the very least counseling. Seriously. You don't take stuff like that lightly.
