So I just finished watching Love Hina in it's entirety
I watched the Christmas Special, I watched the spring special, I watched the Final Selection, and I watched Love Hina Again

and at the end I thought... what in the hell?
is there something I missed
Where is the next episode?

it appeared like they got cancelled in the middle of a season
but no, it ended there in ambiguity like Halo 2

so what game/series/movie that ended to quickly for you?

Fate/Stay Night, anime. Manga apparently wasn't interesting enough for people to try and translate it.

But still, the ending was just too sad. 24 episodes were not enough even to show what the opening cutscene promised (battle between Shirou and Archer).

When I really think about it, I cant think of a single series that ended too early. Sure there are a few I'd like to see continue on (Eureka 7 and Code Geass come to mind) but really if they had gone on any longer they would have worn out their welcome.
EDIT:
You know what? scratch that. Ive got a series I want to see picked up again, Air Gear. What the fuck? it ends in it second season without even a proper close out, it just kind of stopped. What the hell? The manga is awesome, there is no doubt but I would like to see Kururu animated. Its just... ahhh! it frustrates me.

Inuyasha. That was the most WTF ending ever.

They didn't even kill f**king Naraku. WTF?!
God damnit, I knew I shouldn't of looked at the spoiler... I didn't even know the series ended because Adult Swim likes their re-runs except for Cowboy Bebop.

Jericho: yeah it ended with some closure, but they could of finished season 2 like a proper season instead of 8 episodes
Fire fly: well they could have kept this one going a lot longer
American Gothic: It ends like a normal episode, but there is no closure

woah there. inuyasha actually ended? as in the manga or the anime?
Only the anime, the manga is still going in Japan.
They're creating an anime adaptation of the continuation of the manga, where the show itself ended. There will soon be another 24-6 or so episodes that are going to be in series form, picking up where the manga continued, thus ending the actual show once and for all. (Finally, I loved that show)

As for mine own vote: one single name sums absolutely EVERYTHING up. Neon Genesis Evangelion, then the movie: the End of Evangelion...scarred me for life, I can never listen to classical music again. 'Nuff said.

Starship Troopers: Roughnecks. That show could have gone on for quite a while but they ended it with the one on Earth, that was a great series.

Dresden Files, only got one season before it was canceled.
Shame really, I liked that show.

It's a shame there are only 2 seasons of Rome, but I'm glad it ended.
It would have destroyed it if it had been dragged on for longer.
It's just that it was so goddamn awesome!
